Egg is very much on their face, losing that after pulling all those players out of international duty. I assumed they would win the league comfortably but the wheels are starting to fall off big time

    Well said :)

Our owners are plenty wealthy enough nowadays, and are the same sort of level as most of the other US sport group types that are commonplace in the PL. The next, and only rung up from that is the sportswashing states like Newcastle or City. Is...

Love how Stekelenburg claimed to have played 'almost every game' and the article itself corrects him with 26 games in 4 seasons. Just blowing his own trumpet

The academy was completely gutted in the last 5/10 years, so it's not a surprise to see those numbers. Friedkins have been making some positive noises about investing in it and overhauling the set up which is great, though it's obviously a longer...

Ahh man, I didn’t like him when I thought he was just a little gimp. Had no idea about the Greenwood stuff. What a grim fella.

Seems like he can't even get a start at HD for Scotland (I know he played the other day). Has he actually made an appearance there yet? Maybe in the cup back in August?

My extremely detailed analysis of the accounts is that everything is basically fine.

He probably won't get the full 5 years but if he comes in right away he's going to be demanding an absolute fortune. Whether he succeeds or fails he's going to make several million, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's left the club within 12 months.

Suddenly makes Moyes wanting McGinn a little more clear (as well as villa tailing off when he was injured). Every side needs it's standard bearer on the pitch, to set an example and lead from the front. Worth their weight in gold.

In all fairness mate, I think it said Wharton was injured . But think he deserves a second chance anyway . Smash it Jimmy

I think he was fired by both because he was unlikeable as much as anything else. I think it was similar at Burnley. Reading between the lines the people at the top were sick of him there too and wanted him gone. He absolutely would've kept us up...

One of eight players sent home from the England camp. So it looks like his chances of going to the world cup are almost over. Seems like Tuchel has seen enough with that miss last night.

I think he will get at least one more go at the prem because there will be clubs desperate enough to overlook his attitude- as dire as things were towards the end with us and Notts both teams would've scraped survival with him in charge. And...
