Maybe so, but considering Iwobi and Walcott haven't look that great - why not give Yannick a go. It might be a gamble, but I don't think he could do much worse than them.

I've been watching the training videos and he looks pretty sharp. I say he is worth a shot over Iwobi.

Well, he certainly seems to be more of a threat from out wide right now versus being a striker or target man. At least for now, as Zook pointed out.

He isn't a natural striker - he is left winger. It suits his style and the vast majority of his goals come from the left. Silva clearly loves the kid and thinks he is their only hope for scoring up top, but we would be far better off with DCL or Tosun up top with Richarlison streaking in from...

Not his fault...he didn't get much service. Simliar to what he/we saw under Big Sam.

Yes, I figured I would be called out for that but he has shown he has scoring skill and could have potentially scored more. I know people will disagree but I liked his style and think he could have scored even more goals for us last season. If you take away Rooney's hat-trick against West Ham...

I'm not sure what Cardiff's playing style is like, so if they give Niasse no support like he experienced under big Sam's style of play he will not score much. Agreed, and I guess I will never understand the negative comments about Oumar...I think he has skill and potential. He was in good form...

Agreed, his passing was sharp for the most part - just would like to see him send in a cross or 2 instead of playing it back. He was far enough up several times where he could have done that. He was certainly an improvement over Morgan!
