All the credit for Kubo goes to Al, he dropped it yesterday out of no where. Really sticking it to his critics, since he's gone rouge. Thanks Al.

You'd feel for all the Japanese lids who've just bought brand new Sociedad Jerseys.

They may have been briefed on the conidiations of what City want to do a deal and met the lad to pitch the move- prob the most likely in truth or else we've tapped him up. That's usually the way it goes these days. You dont see bidding wars...

Depends on whether you think Fellows can commensurately improve us , or merely maintain our current standing . I think the latter , personally. I hope we can scout better , and hopefully without the English surcharge.

Exactly. This was our last season where we finished in an actual half decent position (marco silva finishing 8th). Didn’t lose in the first 4 that season. We will have had better pre seasons than that and finished lower down.

….seems versatile, could he play that ‘hybrid 10’ position?

I’d have him deeper mate, an 8, he can break a line with passing and was very impressed him driving with the ball, picking out lads, probing and with the timing of his runs into the box, coming from deep.

He also has the engine and physicality for it mate. There was a run he made into the box after starting the attacking phase, he was ahead of everyone even though he started behind, Clarke fluffed it but was thinking, yes high standards, desire...

Id have him ahead of Garner at this rate. Id still sign a new CM to be a starter but he's showing enough this preseason to be part of the squad and to get regular minutes.

It’s his composure and confidence mate, he plays like some 10 years older, his standards are very high, he can also dictate a game and run a midfield. Hes 18 ffs and nor even that long, ridiculous.

If you are peaking in pre season mate, you’re in trouble rom a S/C point of view. You should be a mile of it. It’s great watching the kids get a run, enjoying it.
