That’s fair enough although Dyche earnt 48 points in 23/24 with the club imploding around him so I would argue that is an absolute minimum benchmark for considering progression.

No. He came in last year with 19 games to go so half a season, so just carried on the same basis. There was nothing clever or sinister in, it’s just makes comparison easier.
