The way I see it, West Ham or Nuno in particular moved Bowen to CF and didnt buy for that position leaving Wilson as the back up... which on paper makes sense BUT Bowen is a wide attacker/winger than a striker.
Be like us playing Beto on the wing and wondered why we have no creativity.
I'd agree with most of that, what I would say though is if you are getting a RB we probably don't need another CB because JOB should go in there with Tarky given that as a partnershiop I dont think they have conceded a goal yet. From that point of view I'd get an attacking LB which would give...
I agree that FBs and a striker is priority but if they want Johnson this is probably their only chance, if it is true because it might be BS.
We won't be privvy to the future of Grealish and NDiaye, as we stand here today Grealish is not our player next season.
You cant lament that against Burnley we had our best players missing and the drop off to those who came in and then say we cant sign good players as part of a squad because they all cant get in the starting XI...
These days, to be successful you need strength in depth, not just a good XI and...
I'd rather have Grealish (If he stays), NDiaye, Johnson and Dibling vying for the wide areas that having 2 auto starters and the drop off to someone like McNeil
I think everyone needs to stop being hung up on where he would play... to be successful we need to get our head around having a good squad, not just a good XI.
You are right unfortunately, but because NDaiye and Grealish play whenever they are even 75% fit we will play them to destruction, having a quality rotation player would be beneficial, also if either is out the drop off is massive.
Is there people saying no to Johnson, who scored 18 goals last season? But are massively in favour of signing a lad that cant even get in the team.
18 goals v 2 starts for the same money!
