Not a fan of AWB but that Diouf would be devastating behind N’Diaye or Grealish to be fair.
West Ham’s centre backs are absolutely garbage though, that said so is Keane and Tarkowski hasn’t had a good season
I’m not against this if we buy an attacking left back like Diouf from Wham.
My worry is that if we go with AWB and keep Myko first team, then effectively we won’t be any more attacking down the wings
Wan Bissaka won’t help us with our ability to pass a football and retain possession.
Genius tactic though, build a whole team around getting fullbacks to a position to cross and then have two fullbacks who can’t cross it and a number 9 and 10...
We are a very limited attacking side. Every right back we are being linked with is a solid defensive one who's known for being limited with the ball.
It just feels like completely the wrong profile.
Not for me mate, the issue is whether we realise our mistake and get rid before it's too late and we squander more time and resources. Most managers will have some targets and the more time they have to prepare the better.
Looked like a casual plodder when he's played, haven't seen anything there that gives the impression he's a potentially top wide man. I dont blame moyes for not picking him as he looked awful, but the blame for the pursuit and large transfer fee...
I honestly think what Dyche did was more impressive.
He took the job in January 2023. When he was appointed, I honestly thought we were down. We were 19th and our next game was Arsenal at home. We made no new signing that January and sold...
I just want him gone ASAP, if he stays next season will be exactly the same. It will full of lame excuses and playing his bloody favourites and doing the usual rolling over for the top teams.
Yes, this will inevitably bring shouts of greasing, arse licking, like farming and the such, and all of that is true, but as another season finishes I'd just like to thank Danny and the mods here on GOT for another fantastic year on the forum...
