Called in there earlier this year. There's nothing nice at all about it , no atmosphere, rubbish service and pretty poor selection of ales. Can't for the life of me think why the writer listed it .

Good read that. But there's many many other boozers worth a mention. Always thought we're spoilt for choice in this city. God knows how the Cobden ( not far from me ) got a mention on there , not even the best in Woolton by a long way ,its the type of pub that would be nowhere near a good...

Take your pick Mine would be Apocalypse Now , Epic Vietnam movie , there's a few versions out ( all the same film ) all are over 3 hours . Great cast , Great script, Great location and fantastic soundtrack. Crack a beer , settle in & enjoy .
