Morning all, after a bright start now cloudy and chilly. Sorry to hear your head is hurting again @Terrarian hope it eases soon. @blue1948 Good luck with the teeth service and mushroom hunting, just be careful you don’t evict any pixies. lol Not sure what to do today might go for a walk this morning then help brother with his garden. One thing is for sure I won’t be turning on the telly, no disrespect but I have attended enough funerals in my time and I can be doing without this one. Have a good day all.?
 
Good morning everybody. Got up early, went to the gym. The PT forgot he'd booked us in for a session so we just did a cardio session by ourselves. Not quite so intensive as when we have an instructor but I'm working on the assumption that anything is better than nothing.

I'm trying to sort out fit to fly COVID tests for before we go on holiday. We need one to get on the ship. Mr F is not helping - he is a complete technophobe so the phrase 'download an app' strikes fear into his heart.

I have assaulted it with painkillers and gel, seem to be on top of it at the minute but it's a spasm one and they hurt, feels like my heads being crushed so I really can't let it develop. Thanks.

I forgot to say, I think it was the food making Daisy scratch, she's much better now but still scratching a bit, I'm thinking she may have inflamed her skin.

I'm another who won't be watching a funeral, don't even get upset when people i love pass, so not bothered about a very rich and privileged lady as much as I do respect her position.

I guess as far as monarchs go through history, she's been harmless as she has no power. I don't hate the Royals but I certainly don't fawn over them. They poo out of the same hole, as a colleague once said. Just people who have been lucky to be born into wealth and positions of influence.

I was once training for the USAF in Naples. one evening a bunch of the guys took me to their favourite pizza place in town. One of them was Italian and born locally and HE drove me there...hint never get in a car with a Neapolitan driver in rush hour when he is going for pizza. That said I never ever had pizza like it. They were all customised favourites all like their mama used to make and the pizzeria kept all of the favourite recipes for year after year. I took a cab back.....also a mistake !

I'm with you on this Gwladys . As you guys know I'm definately not a monarchist - in fact I'm in favour of the abolition of the Monarchy - but unlike the disgusting Celtic fans - now is not the time for that debate.

Now is a time for respect - but respect for everyone. In my world everyone is equal and no one , no matter how much wealth or power or intellect they have is superior to me or anyone else. That's just my views.

So, like Gwladys I won't be watching , instead we will walk the dogs and do the garden. I actually like history but this has gone on far , far too long and the astronimical amount it is costing at a time of a cost of living crises is absurd.
