Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Congratulations to your daughter. That is an amazing achievement. What's her subject?
She originally wanted to be a vet, despite her perfect marks and the extensive portfolio she had she couldn't get through the interview stage so she did Ecology at Edinburgh King's..
She has been at Imperial College studying quantative genetics (Yeah I know) ( Something like that anyway) all to do with animal conservation.
She was on the Isle of Lundy in July studying sparrows and her first assignment for her PhD will be visiting the Isle of Rhum to study the deer population.
To think I struggled to pass my maths O level.
She's obviously got her mum's brains and my good looks.?

That's brilliant. I always wanted to be a vet. Never got the grades though. You must be so proud of her.I've been to Eigg but not Rhum.

Aaaghhh. 7am. I must still be on Greece time. ? Still, I probably have 3 lots of washing to do before my trip up to Liverpool on Sunday, and I won't be able to avoid a bit of ironing this time either. So an early start is probably needed.

Sam, the neighbours daughter, very kindly provided a few supplies for my return, which included a 2 pinter of milk. So it's cornflakes for breakfast for me for the next 3 days. Ungrateful bugger aren't I.

Need to see if my brother in law sorted my hotel for the Liverpool trip today. If he hasn't I could end up house sitting and Rosie minding at Jazzy"s?

Have a good day everyone.
No , but Laura , our house sitter might - mind you she'd rival the blonde in your photo!

Please don't. I'm still recovering from that day.?

Actually both of Rob's niece's were delightful but that one was more of a party animal. She was kind enough to amuse an aging very slightly tipsy man. Mind you, she's worked on luxury yachts for the last 12 years so she should be used to dealing with the 'Leslie Phillips " type. Yes, that was directed towards you Anj in case you were wondering.?
