Totally agree about free speech .Some people hold different views to your own Peter.
Free speech mate. It's what makes us a progressive society.
I believe the late Queen witnessed her father sending troops to war in the name of protecting that freedom.
Suck it up mate.
I feel the same when I see you defending Boris and his cohorts but I wont spit my dummy out over it.
Oh I'm terribly sorry to hear that mate.My dad sadly passed away in his sleep yesterday morning aged 87.
He took me to my first Everton game when I was seven despite him supporting Leeds where he came from.
He was a good man who was always there for anyone in need.
It then took me 8 hours to travel down to Merseyside due to the M6 closure.
Tried to get something upbeat on the radio to cheer myself up but it was all solemn stuff due to the Queen's passing
It was fair to say it wasn't a good day all round.
2 hours ahead I believeMorning Fred is it the time difference that has you up so early?
We're in beautiful Mykonos today. Going on an excursion to Minos, birthplace of Apollo, so there should be plenty of photo opportunities of old relics. I know H likes a good relic ?

Thanks Jazzy, I've no doubt whatsoever I'll be doing the same?Oh I'm terribly sorry to hear that mate.
Please accept my sincere condolences.
I lost my dad 22 years ago , it still hurts and I still talk to him and ask his advice from time to time.
Take care.
Thank you Blue, sorry you were not so close to yourself dad, I feel very blessed to have got to 62 and had such a close relationship, I think along with thefact he'd struggled for a while that it's helped me come to terms quickly with his passing.Well good morning all on a bright sunny but cool day here in Finland ,I hope all had a fine night and have a better day today.
So nice to see the restaint by some posters ,yes I know it is a divisive subject but as said that is for another thread . We are all doing so well in respecting Karl and it is so pleasing to see this restraint ,it shows how much the thread means to us all ,for that I thank all posters .
Very sorry to hear of your Dad passing @larbert toffee ,you seem to be a fine example of his life's endeavour and for that he would be so happy . I lost my step father over 20 years ago and we were not close ,I am quite in awe when I hear stories as yours , they give me such a warmth inside .
I too agree @Barnfred 55 where is Sassy when we need her .
Have a great day all COYB
Thanks Anje for your kind words, much appreciated x.I am so sorry to hear this. Sending love to you and your family. You've been a lovely son to him as he has been a lovely Dad for you. Much love x
Thank you Fred xReally sorry to hear that mate. Very sorry for your loss.
See , this is the point.I hate with a vengence that people who have a ridulously large house and a single family ,I abhor the fact that 1,133 people worked for the Queen .I had a work friend whose daughter worked at the palace as part of a team that changed bed linen -all day every day .Crazy ,totally crazy .
How anyone can justify having a massive house with upwards of 10 beds is beyond me .So much money is wasted on the upkeep that could be spent elsewhere . I am not directing this at just one family but they are the biggest perpetrators .
It really makes my blood boil.
I've realised my issues were with the GOT app. Neither of the methods you or @tommye suggested worked. However if I log onto the website through my phone both ways work. That sounds way too complicated
Sincere condolences, mate. Tough, tough time. It will get easier though, I promise. Look after yourself too.My dad sadly passed away in his sleep yesterday morning aged 87.

Common decency is indeed the order of the day. Long may that statement hold true.Common decency. When a few on here grow up, lose a parent, grandparent or two, perhaps they will understand what it means.….
