Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I may finally watch maverick today, looking forward to that. Got a bit of a headache and sore neck so might just have a film fest in between Daisy walks or I still have the new Lord of the Rings series to start. Anyone watched any of it and House of the Dragon?

I am starting to feel like their is no originality left in the fantasy genre these days. I'm going to take a break from fantasy books for a while they all are more of much the same. Back to thrillers and horrors for a bit.

Hello all. Just had lunch break and watched a bit of the Tour Of Britain cycle race. It's all around County Durham today. It's coming quite close to here. If you're watching have a look for Ferryhill, Cassop and Quarrington. I'm near there. It starts in Redcar tomorrow so I'll have to watch again.
The sky here is absolutely black but it hasn't rained at all. It must be on its way.

I will give you the full run down of the allegedly mad Italian Costa Cruise line when I get back! ?
@Vegas Toffee Girl is a stalwart of the Women of GOT. @Gwladysover and I have met her many times in the forum and it's nice to see her popping up in other places! I'm always impressed by those who live in US, Australia or NZ who get up at stupid o'clock to watch Everton.
Have a fab time when you go Ange. Their coffee should be good.

Do you have assistance from a truffle hunting hound Blue or do you use your own nose ? lol

I remember being in Vegas when we had an FA Cup early KO. I want to say Sunderland? 2012 it will have been. Sure it was a drab 0-0.

We got up about 3am after staggering to bed a couple of hours earlier, and made our way to some dodgy Casino off the strip because they had a “British pub” that showed the games. Had a few drinks with some cockney geezers who came in for the West Ham game that was on after ours, and then staggered back to the strip as the sun was coming up.

Vegas, man. Good times.
