I eat a LOT of humus. Its only chic peas and a bit of other stuff.I have a dilemma. I'm having chicken satay kebabs for tea and I normally have some flat bread snd humus with it. But I've just noticed the humus was use by 10th August. They normally have a good date but I did buy it a couple of weeks ago. Should I take a chance.? It looks and smells fine

Why didn't you just plant mint? That does the same but it tastes nice?Daughters boyfriend gave us some borage to plant in the garden. I had never heard of it but you can eat the leaves and the flowers, make tea with it and has lots of medicinal properties. I have not tried any of the suggested uses but might chuck a few flowers in my next salad! Anyway we planted it a few months ago and it has gone crazy. Completely overtaken one flowerbed. Apparently it cones back every year so looks like it is here to stay. However the bees and butterflies love it so it can stay.
Yeah. I like Irish Whisky too?Reminded me of Phil Lynett on the Thin Lizzy live album!
"Are there any Irish girls in tonight?"
"Yeaaaaah"
"Any who want some more Irish in them?"
Different days.

My Mum grew mint. Every cat in the neighbourhood would p*ss in it. She would then pick it and make her own mint sauce. I'm sure she washed it but.....Why didn't you just plant mint? That does the same but it tastes nice?
