Ange, sounds like your hen party was an entertaining success, hopefully the bride to be also had a joyous time. Look forward to seeing your pics!
Ha, I was actually going to post the same thing about my job but decided not to be cynical ? Unfortunately the reality is that my bosses or college administrators have little to do with salaries or raises. Those are determined by our state legislature (us being a public community college, meaning government funded) and our state legislature is currently run by a majority of Republicans who are against paying a decent wage to the public servants of our state, it has always been like that in North Carolina. If I want to make good money in this state, I would really need to be working in the private sector, but that’s not my passion thus the enticement of a larger salary has never been enough motivation for me to switch over. If our health insurance wasn’t as expensive I’ll be having a lot more money, that’s really one of the main issues. But at least I don’t have to wait weeks to see a doctor or specialist, as it has happened to
@Terrarian and Sofia is seeing a mental health therapist weekly at no additional cost to us. I’ve been very grateful for it because as she is approaching teenager years it is important for her to be able to communicate her feelings and learn how to deal with her frustrations. With the insurance we had before we had to pay $40 out of pocket cost each visit so it has saved us so monthly money. Anyway, all this to say that I wish I were getting paid more as I deserve it, but I’m really loving what Im doing and thankfully our family doesn’t have lots of debts so for now we make enough to pay for our bills, save a little and play a little ?
