Just not true.
Fulham are not a better side and we have no idea how the dozen signings made by Forest will work.... my feeling is that it is far too many.
Mate, we wouldn't have won 2 games 7-0 in the championship last season like Fulham did, including away to promotion rivals Blackburn, we struggled against Huddersfield and QPR in the league Cup.

Between possible and probable. The Palace euphoria has vanished and we are left to contemplate a dire struggle before even a ball has been kicked. Desperately we have failed to get rid of rubbish such as Davies and Gomez etc, and even worse seem to be considering playing them.

Only got to beat 3 to stay up, bottom 8 from:

Bournemouth, Fulham, Forest, Leeds, Brentford
, Southampton, Everton, Villa. (bottom 4 in bold my favourites for the drop)

Palace and Wolves in their 'OK phase' mid cycle. Though Wolves and Leicester may finally wobble a bit lower but Vardy Morrison etc sound, but if injured...

Newcastle funded to f(*&(kso will be OK.

We'll scrape it. Home form essential. Forget the cups.

We’re abysmal and were before they sold Richarlison to appease the league.

Last season was terrible and this will be worse. Should have had players waiting at the door once Richarlison fee was received. Amateur hour as per last 30-40 years.

There is a huge gulf between championship and Premiership.

Forest have recognised that buying a dozen players to add to the squad that was promoted.
The Fulham team will also be hugely different this season.
Of the three teams promoted the probability is that at least two will be relegated again.
Fulham would now happily take where we finished last season even though it was a disaster for us.

It's the hope that 3 teams are worse than us.
Possibly more than 3 could be or on a par.
Throw dirty Leeds,Southampton and Brentford in with the 3 newbies and that's our league.

As it stands we are 100% relegation fodder, let's make no bones about it.

Things COULD change over the next fortnight, 2/3 or quality players would increase our survival odds dramatically....

However, we've done nothing to suggest we're going to be that shrewd in the transfer market, hence the frustration.

Crap aren't we.

I think it’s really, really, really important to recognise that the manager isn’t the problem here. I know it’s a very tempting knee jerk to shout about sacking him but let’s please look at the bigger picture here. The season starts in 2 weeks and we have not spent a penny on new signings and have only sold one of our most important first team players.

SACK. THE. BOARD.

Tough for the Toffees?

Everton did manage to survive last season but there are still a lot of questions surrounding the Toffees as they aim to avoid another relegation scrap.
They did have to battle injuries with the most absences and the most total days missed (as outlined in the below tweet) but it's a squad that just doesn't have enough quality throughout to be truly competitive.

Years of poor spending have led to this position and there are limits to what they will be able to do in this transfer market. James Tarkowski has come in on a free transfer but that's about it for a quiet window so far.
It's been all about the outgoings. Most notably, Richarlison has left to join Tottenham in a £60m deal and we're not sure how much of that can or will be reinvested in the squad.
It leaves them without a key forward heading into the new campaign - placing further emphasis on Dominic Calvert-Lewin to deliver - while interest remains in winger Anthony Gordon, who has enjoyed far more involvement since Frank Lampard was appointed.
The midfield is the standout area for Everton, although for the wrong reasons. It lacks quality and depth and needs serious boosting if they are to clear themselves of the bottom-three again in 22/23.
Everton under Frank Lampard

Lampard did a decent enough job in the almost half-season he was there - particularly with a Burnley resurgence that suddenly made the race to avoid relegation interesting again.
However, questions remain about his coaching ability and he doesn't have the squad or finances available to build this team to where it needs to be.
Infogol has the Toffees at 19.2% (4.2/1) for relegation this season, meaning that the 5/1 (16.7%) available is a value bet based on the underlying numbers and predictions.
With much required in the midfield and attacking areas, it should be another season of struggle for a side who are Premier League regulars.

Worrying thing is .... we've barely scraped through and have done nothing to improve. We've sold one of our better players and are doing the typical "Everton" transfer window of not signing players until late in the window. The fans helped keep us up last year and the club have found a way to squander even those good feelings with an inept tour and lack of activity. Those 5 games in Aug before the window closes are massive and those flares from last year will be torches and pitchforks soon enough. Losses between the Chelsea and RS matches will be like bullets in the chamber for the manager and our PL status.

Ahhh yes. I remember that season a few years ago when we won the transfer window, Klaason, Sandro and so forth. That went well didn’t it

100% correct, and like the saying goes: you don't have to out run the lion to not get eaten, just don't be the slowest in the jungle.

Hardly epitomizes N.S.N.O though does it; looking for 3 slightly more crap teams.

Probably should have been erased from the crest a long time ago.
