He's had one real run at CH, and he was outstanding, alongside, Distin or Luca Niell, despite his form when Moye's favourite Jagielka was fit again Johnny was shunted out of CH, he is a far better option than Jags right now, every single game this season weve seen Jags slip, misplace passes and put headers all over the show, the man is an oaf.
If Johnny is fit on Sat he should start, Stamford Bridge is no place to allow Jags to try to play himself into form.

What worse about his post is that he would accept £5m for a player we bought for £7m.
In my opinion he is one of our better players who just doesn't get enough time as a Centre back. He has 72 caps for Holland and has played 3 major tournements for them as a Centre back and with the exception of the moment of madness in the final has been pretty consistant for them.
To say he is lacking technique is sheer crazy.
Nah we should stick with Jags, even though he's never had a look in for England and can't clear a ball to save his life. He's made some major mistakes already this season, including one which led to us conceding against Sheffield United. At the moment i'm more worried about losing Distin than i am Jagielka.
I'm sure the only reason Heitinga has been such an integral part of Holland throughout three international tournaments is because they're all smoking pot or something. Can't be that he's good. *rolls eyes*

listen Roysten Drenthe , it's all about opinions , just because someone has **** loads of caps for his country means zero , Howard Kendall never got one cap , Abel Xavier got over 50 , David Ginola hardly featured neither Cantona , Arteta hasn't had 1 , like I said John Heitinga is too small to play at centre half in the premier league because he ain't good enough in the air , maybe playing in Spain where it suits his style more , and we payed 5 million for Heitinga not 7 , there's nothing stupid about an opinion so go and get another 6 of your pals to come on slating this comment too

Oh c'mon Holland have a choice of an plenty of players especially up and coming defenders who euro teams are falling over themselves to pick up yet the Dutch coaches 2 of them i think have always turned to Johnny.
Generally i agree with those staements but not on this the lad has quality and is a good player. For some reason Moyes does not see him as a central defender and does not utilise him as best he could.

Comparing it to Royston Drenthe is laughable. Not the same, at all.
Heitinga was absolutely adored by Ajax fans, he was a first choice player for them until he was injured and came back to be a first choice once he had recovered. He's been part of a Netherlands squad who nearly won the World Cup and are and have been one of the strongest teams in the World for years.
I'm all for opinions, but then you go and pull ****e out of nowhere like 'He thinks he's Beckham'. Absolute nonsensical rubbish.

Moyes doesn't see him as a central defender because of the obvious reasons I stated above , HE AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH IN THE AIR what's not to understand , international football is a totally different game

I don't watch Dutch football but I presume playing in the Ajax side he did , the ball very rarely left the floor , Johnny is very competent on the ball and I imagine would have suited playing in that Ajax side but as I said I don't watch Dutch football ,
But just because he was adored at Ajax is another throw away comment , Andy Van Meyde was adored in Holland and was absolutely ****e , Thomas Rosicky was worshiped at Broussia Dortmand and is a bench player at Arsenal , all these points are irrelevant , in England the first thing you need as a centre half is the ability to defend set Pieces , Heitinga can't as he proved many of times last season , but like I said it's all about opinions don't say to people their stupid if they don't agree with you because it won't get you far .
Distin and Jagielka are better central defenders than him.
He is crap at right back and in midfield.
Saying that, if we don't start keeping clean sheets then he'll get his chance. Jagielka hasn't been at the races this season.
