They are both a lot better than Gray and Gordon currently.
Fair enough mate. From the little I've seen, which I must admit is Thursday night, I wouldn't swap either for Gordon myself, or Richarlison.

Yeah he is decent and defo one to put on the list, if others don't work out. I like Worrall myself tbh.@Simon Buttle what do you make of Hull's centre back, Greaves?

Fair point.
I suppose it's what premium you put on someone knowing the league really isnt it mate?
That Edersons numbers looked very good though.
He assisted a goal worth 150m.Gray has had about 4 good games this season.
Eze was fantastic, as opposed to Gordon who was crap in that game, and I’m a Gordon fan. Olise didn’t play as he’s injured.
So, no prime Messi for you? Or Silva, or a Zola, Iniesta? Aguero? Tevez? Suppose mo Modric either?
Football is football though, right? (Unless it's soccer.) Anyone will take ~ 6 months to adjust to a new setting, even experience PL guys will need to adjust to a new squad. I just don't really buy the "knows the league" trope, it's mindless gibberish easily perpetuated by the goofs in TV studios, and there are plenty of examples of players who didn't "know the league" and got on just fine. That Mykolenko kid, for instance, appears to be way better than Dunc said on the train...
I think this explains the Tarkowski stuff really. We are losing a lot of wages, so frees and loans can probably be considered.
To a point yes.
We have seen a lot of players brought in, and flopped though. The PL is a very powerful, intense league, with hard games most weeks.
I think the key is, are you paying the right price for that premium.

I put a link to 3 vids in the Lewis-Potter threadAbsolute top class technical players with other top class technical players in the same team is great.
But if you stick someone like Bernard in our side then even though he’s good technically (not top level but good) he just gets overwhelmed as he can’t get time and space on the ball.
Technically no, because we would still have finished 2 points ahead of Burnley if we had not scored that winning goal.
