Just been thinking about the Rodri handball and how that might have affected how we approach Sundays game. An extra point on the board would put a whole new shine on our run in right now.

Well it could easily be or it could be 40.

It's really that tight.

Leeds could win their next two games but if us and Burnley get to 40 too then they'd be down.

It's too tight to call right now.

Let's hope Brighton do us a huge favour on Sunday. If Leeds don't get a win out of that then we have 2 home games to collect 2 points and we'd be fine.
If Leeds do lose to Brighton it will be 1 point needed.

Unless Arseal put 20 past us.

Yep or even if they draw then a win from either of our home games sees us safe

But I don't think we can take anything for granted. Leeds will go all out on Sunday and have their fans fully behind them because of how big a game it is.

I wouldn't be at all shocked if we kick-off and we're below them in the table which means we'd need at least 4 points from the two home games to avoid going into the final day needing anything, barring of course two Burnley defeats at Spurs and Villa which isn't out of the question.

The other day was huge and an opportunity missed but it's still in our hands. The whole team and manager have to be better and braver on Sunday though.

Yep nowt for granted.

Just do our job , let other teams do the worrying.

Honestly Potter-Ball bailing us out would be kind of funny considering the stuff said about him by some on here when we were looking for a manager last summer
By the same token, Brighton going to Leeds and blowing up would vindicate some of the suspicions many had about Potter back then. Unquestionably he's done a really fine job there - but Everton is a different kettle of fish. I hope he proves himself less flaky than some of us suspect he is by winning on Sunday.

Leeds are the enemy now, we go to war and just try and better what they do from here, having the initiative on them is an opportunity we cant pass up, we need to make it count, i dont see them meekly going of into the abyss, so its who wants it more, we cant be found wanting.

Time to hammer the hammer, we know what we have to do.
