I think we have to beat Brentford, Palace, and Watford. One further point on top would be great, be it vs. Chelsea or Leicester.

Still excluding the Arsenal game from any scenarios although obviously it may end up being important. Let's hope not.

Not sure if we will win three more games though. But we can accumulate another 8-9 points.

Don't know if that will be enough. We could do with Burnley at least not winning tonight. If they drop points this evening then it will be a major blow for them and may affect coming games.

Would Burnley rather in our position with our games left or in their position with their games.
I doubt Burnley see their remaining fixtures as particularly easy.

If Southampton turn up, Burnley lose, big if there though, granted. Wolves next - going for an European spot, so should be motivated for the probable win.

If they lose those two games, heads will be down and Watford will still think they have a chance of overhauling them, so will be up for it.

They are unlikely to get anything from Tottenham away or Newcastle at home.

Leaves them home and away against Villa, which is unlikely to be 2 wins.

8 points needed for us to grasp safety, I reckon.

If Burnley lose tonight, the gods are smiling and they are unlikely to recover.

Turned off so missed the equaliser.

That’s me done for the season. I can’t waste another 1 1/2 hours of my life on these useless tossers again this season.

Sick to death of how pathetic they are.

Having a bet on 5 and 6 nil Sunday, it’s going to be a proper walloping. Feel so sorry for any Everton fans actually going to that.

…fancy backing Everton to get beat, especially by that lot. I like a bet but I’m 65 & I’ve never backed against Everton or backed the Reds to win. I don’t even back a horse with Red in the name, it’d give me no pleasure if I won.

Brentford are flying. Second in the form table. Five wins from six.

I actually think we need to stiffen midfield, play five men and defend when away. A point away anywhere would be great.

Well we now have three home games left. Chelsea, Brentford and Crystal Palace.

We all know Chelsea is difficult. Brentford are flying right now and second in the form table.

The away games are Leicester, Watford, Arsenal. We realistically have to beat Watford away.

I think if we won Crystal Palace and Watford we are safe. That would leave Burnley needing eleven points to overhaul us. No chance.

Before last nights game I was thinking that if we won 3 home games and drew one away, we would be safe.

For me we still need 9 points. We could still win the 3 remaining home games, Chelsea, Brentford, Palace. But I think more realistically we need points on the road. But our away form is so bad, I don’t know where that will come from. Watford is the obvious choice, but those games can go either way.

But if Burnley win one and draw one against Soton and Wolves we are in the bottom three right. Two clubs that neither have anything to play for. Burnley could win both those games?

….we all look for ‘angles’ but as we saw with Leicester last night, a team with nothing to play for can relax and enjoy their football. in contrast, we were nervous kittens.

We’ll just have to see how tonight pans out & desperately hope Burnley drop points.

I'd agree. There are no real banker home games in the run-in but that also means none for Burnley either. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat Chelsea. We should at least look to take seven points from Brentford/Watford/Palace. Anything less and its very very precarious and needing to take perhaps unexpected points elsewhere.

We desperately need Southampton to win tonight.
He’s going to stitch us up tonight :(
