Played the same games really hope they get beat.
And the draw had most of their key players rested
They'll be resting some against us too after they've sewn up the tie
It's a shame but it's the reality. This game was always a goal difference issue
Burnley are 4 behind but with a game in hand as far as I see it
It would take a miracle. Best Home record, best attack, versus worst away record

Negative side of brain (90%) is saying that a point was not enough last night. By Sunday night, Burnley could be 2 points clear and our GD could be in bits. Also missed real chance of getting Leeds involved.

Optimistic side of brain (10%) is saying I would have taken 4 points from home games v Leicester and Chelsea, so a win at Goodison next Sunday (I think) and we can still do this.

I'll be over the moon if we can take 5 points from the next 4 games. Would mean Burnley would probably need 10 points to overtake us and they play Southampton, Wolves, Watford and Villa - certainly doable for them, but unlikely to win all. I think they may get very well pick up 7 points though, which would mean if we picked up just 5 points from the best 4 games we'd be in a great position to stay up with some home games left.

In my opinion it'll definitely go down to the final 2 games of the season.

Optimistically I still think two more wins now will be enough, but only just! Purely based on Burnley going on a mini run and getting some points but whilst remembering they are also not very good!! (I can’t see them getting more than 3 wins in their last 7)
That said I do want them to get a drubbing from someone, the goal difference situation is a concern given how close it is.

Well we now have three home games left. Chelsea, Brentford and Crystal Palace.

We all know Chelsea is difficult. Brentford are flying right now and second in the form table.

The away games are Leicester, Watford, Arsenal. We realistically have to beat Watford away.

I think if we won Crystal Palace and Watford we are safe. That would leave Burnley needing eleven points to overhaul us. No chance.

But if Burnley win one and draw one against Soton and Wolves we are in the bottom three right. Two clubs that neither have anything to play for. Burnley could win both those games?
