Agreed. Teams fighting relegation have a habit of picking up unexpected/more points near the end of the season often due to playing teams with nothing to play for.Wish i was as confident as some in this thread that Burnleys 4 game win this season is more or less how the rest of the season will go.
Staring down the barrel of a gun can change a lot of things.
Few weeks ago i was certain we only had to reel in brentford.
They then went and won 4-1 at chelsea.
Few twists in this i think.
Finally, some tactical nous from Big Frank and the Yellow Streaks. Let's get this show on the road.We would also be the first team in history to win a game 24 hours before they play.
Indeed what are facts but little lies that happen to be true.I'm with Dave. One should never let facts get in the way of a Everton good story.
I think they'll thrash about a bit and get a result or two at home. Let's say they win 3 of their last 7 and let's throw in a draw (probably as much as you could push it if you were being hopelessly optimistic for them). That'd hand them a 35 point finish.Wish i was as confident as some in this thread that Burnleys 4 game win this season is more or less how the rest of the season will go.

We'd need (depending on GD) 7 points from the last 7 games. If we got 3 of them tonight wouldn't you feel pretty confident of us getting at least 4 more points against Leicester, Brentford, Palace and Watford?
Tonight is huge (they all are obviously). But if we beat Leicester it'll pile way too much pressure on Burnley to deal with, and it'll make us hot favourites to overtake Leeds who have a run in I wouldn't ever want us to have.
35.44 points could be enough to stay safe.Averaging 0.93 ppg this season. That gives us less than 8 more points. What a truly awful season it's been.
Would be something if we stayed up by 0.44 of a point lol35.44 points could be enough to stay safe.
I'd take it if offered it now.Would be something if we stayed up by 0.44 of a point lol
Bite your hand offI'd take it if offered it now.

@matty1878 has already built a monastic retreat at the back of Moel Famau, especially for posters who have slipped into his alternate reality, where Everton are already relegated.
