Relegation

Looking at our remaining games we are definitely capable of winning another 9 points at least when you consider we have Leicester (H), Brentford (H), Place (H) with Watford (A) and Leicester (A). I put Leicester there twice because I think their European campaign affects their league games and we could take advantage of that.

9 points would give us 37, I don`t see Burnley getting 12 points to overtake us from their last 7 games.... their run in.

Villa (H)
Tottenham (A)
Villa (A)
Newcastle (H)

If we dont get enough points to stay up and they do, then we absolutely deserve to go down..... Lets be honest we have been the worst team in the PL for the majority of this season.

I for one cant wait for this season to be over and hope we do stay up.

Leicester game is critical for me. If we win I think we’re almost there, 6 clear with 7 to play. If we lose we’re in an almighty scrap.

I think Leicester game is critical too but don’t think even a win puts us almost there tbh. There’s every chance we take 0/1 point from the following three games after Leicester, whereas Burnley have some very winnable games (Southampton, Wolves and Burnley).

I think even if we beat Leicester, which will be really tough, we could still find ourselves in relegation zone by the time we go to Leicester away. We have to beat Leicester on Wednesday to give us some breathing space and make it very difficult for Burnley.

Thank God for the Burnley draw. They reverting to type and result: draws draws draws. Thats how they can beat us and only that way. The question now is how are we gonna be about doing our thing. I think we can beat leicester. If we get them, then it remains to be seen for the rest. Against LFC id go for a draw too, but the rest we need to attack. Its gonna be fine. Thank you. Peace!

I think we need to go all out to beat Leicester on Wednesday to give us that 6 point gap because our next two is Liverpool away and Chelsea at home. The chances we take anything from them is slim whilst Burnley play 4 games in that time, 3 at home and one away to Watford. Do we trust Southampton and Wolves to not bottle it at Burnley? Surely they are winning at Watford, 2 wins will put them above us even if we beat Leicester.

It`ll be tight but I can see us spending a week or so in that relegation zone unless Burnley completely implode, which is exactly what every Evertonian is hoping for.
