Why should anyone be worried ?

He’s someone who stops teams losing, not someone who gets teams winning.

Burnley need the polar opposite of Allardyce.

Allardyce normally makes open teams more solid. Burnley are already solid, they just struggle to score (unless playing us). Hopefully they’ll struggle to get a new manager bounce in the way that Leeds have.

It's took me sixty years plus to get to this point but I am finally at a stage in my life where I don't give a toss who the rs beat or what they win .
I am only Interested in what we and the teams around us do.
I have to admit this new found repose is quite calming but I can't guarantee it will last beyond the end of the season.

That would give us the breathing room we need going into the Liverpool and Chelsea games especially if we can beat Leicester. Here's hoping results swing our way and the lads can win the game for us at Goodison

So that's Watford having to win three to overtake us,having played two games more.

Effectively have three games to hurt us and they still have City and Chelsea to play.

Realistically that is 0 points for them in those 2. They would need to win the other 4 games now, and hope we don't win 2. They and Norwich are essentially down.

No re Burnley. We could easily lose 3 in a row after the Leicester home game

We could, but momentum will be with us with back to back wins and I'd doubt we'd lose 3 in a row again.

For me the next game each for Burnley and Everton are going to be crucial. I'd stick my neck out and say if we get 7 points clear we wont see that clawed back by a team as clueless as Burnley.

What a god awful season. Sat here doing mental gymnastics about what Burnley sacking a manager will mean for us and caring about the result in Watford v Brentford.

I don't really have a point other than desperately wanting this season to end and us scraping survival.

I see this, but it’s football. We could easily of won at Burnley and then lost to Man U. Burnley could of lost to us then got a result at Norwich. They should of with that massive miss from cornet with 20 mins to go while Norwich when’re only 1 up. It comes down to coping with pressure as well as quality. If and pray they do West Ham beat Burnley. Then Wednesday night is vital. We win that then we are in a very strong position. The players will understand this and it’s about not bottling it. True test that will be.
