ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Spot on all of this but you’ll get called part of the tin foil hat brigade by the same group on here who seem to love this lot.

It’s the world class striker bit that resonates the most with me. These big clubs don’t miss a single one. Not a single one. They were picking up Messi as a teenager. They paid millions for Neymar. United swooped for a teenage Rooney with a record fee. Same with Ronaldo. Haaland and Mbappe have been signed up as teenagers to top clubs already. These top clubs are constantly gambling on young prodigies across the globe, and let’s be honest how many do they miss? Barely any, and if they do they’re buying them in their early 20s for huge money.

You can even extend it to CBs. Pique was world class as a teenager, both United and Barcelona knew it. Ramos also, Varane likewise. City shelled out 50 mill for John Stones. Even all the way back to Maldini. The class was obvious.

Then you have Liverpool who somehow managed to find the only three forwards in world football all in their mid 20s who happened to just morph into not only world class players (despite never showing it anywhere before) but arguably the best forward line in world football all at the same time! What an amazing coincidence.

But then to repeat the trick with Van Dijk as well, a player in his mid 20s who had been good for Celtic and Southampton to then become, according to the media now, the best CB in the world and maybe prem history. How did all these top clubs miss these prodigies in their teenage years?

To top it all off, how amazingly convenient that all these players came along just as two world class full backs appeared over night (despite no one mentioning TAA in his academy years at all, and Robertson looking terrible for Hull)

I see Coutinho is now at Aston Villa and Wijnaldum can’t get in the PSG team. Amazing how their period of world class form occurred for the only time in their career under Klopp at Liverpool.

He’s just a doping cheat, so is Pep (seriously I’d never even heard of Dias, Rodri, Jesus, Bernardo Silva before they all turned out to be world class). How convenient that they lost Kompany Silva Aguero (genuine generational world class players) and just replaced them so easily with a few players from Benfica and Atletico and arguably got even more consistent.

One day people will look back and wonder how they got sucked in by all this. It’s almost quite disgusting to watch. They’re just trampling on years of football history like it’s nothing. 100 points, 99 and 98 points, 18 game winning streaks, 5 and 6 nil wins becoming common place. Making PL teams look like Sunday league sides. Going to European power houses and smashing them on their own turf with their B teams like it’s nothing.

It’s pornographic and not the good kind. The game is seriously wrong and these two are the rotting core of it. Doping cheats.
Also I can't think of a midfielder getting better in their 30s, than their 30s, yet Milner a player who was average in his prime has got better in his 30s. Defenders get better as they get more experience, same with midfielders. KDB got better at Wolfsburg, but it took him a year and a half to reach his prime, Ronaldo took 4 years to become world class, Salah was able to come in to the premier league and to become world class overnight. Liverpool's success in recent years does not fit in within the norms of football. The RS team of 2017/2018 was very similar to the their team in 2019/2020, so why was there a huge change in their performances. They scraped through the group stages in 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 which doesn't fit in with how the great sides of the past did. The RS when they were dominating domestic football and European football still didn't destroy teams like the RS did in 2020. The great sides of the past had quality across the park, not just a few good players. The United side who won the league in 2009, had quality across the park and the RS somehow had this success with a small squad. When you take in the style of football they play it becomes even more suspicious.

He big indicator for me was their form in the middle of last season.

I don’t care what anyone says, a couple of injuries at centreback does not lead to that sort of drop off. They went from being a team that had steamrollered everyone for 2 and a half seasons barely dropping points, to a team that lost 6 in a row at home getting beaten by the likes of Brighton Fulham Everton Burnley Southampton. They then flicked a switch and won a ridiculous number in a row at the back end of the season to make sure they got CL football again. I’ve never seen any other team have a dip in form like that.

Alexander Arnold and Robertson went from the best full backs in PL history apparently to in danger of not making the England squad, being told he couldn’t defend, and fans wanting Tsimikas over Robertson. Mane and Firmino couldn’t hit a barn door.

Now they’ve gone straight back to the same form they showed in previous seasons. An odd aberration that coincides precisely with the PED cycle periods.

I know a lad, decent player (CD) at non league level, he knows a few of the staff from the the RS. They told him what Klopps special brew was. He got hold of some on the Dark Web. A week later, his performance went thru the roof. Shooting, finishing, control & heading was ridiculous. He’s now gone from being a non league Defender to having the likes of Barca & Munich after him as a forward, such has been the improvement in his shooting & finishing. His fitness has improved 10 fold & his technical ability is off the scale. He’s sees thing that he could never see previously. This ‘brew’ is crazy. How can something like that make these players so much better than anyone else? Needs looking into. It obviously brings talent that wasn’t there before to the fore.

Sides are splitting. Nice one.

And the name of that player? Lance Armstrong.

The point is a good one, don’t you think? What do the 2 posters above think ‘PEDS’ do? Performance enhancing drugs, I think the other 2 are taking that far too literally. Taking them won’t make good players into World Class players, they don’t give you more talent as well.
No they can't turn Dave from Speke into KDB because players like him rely on skill, same with Iniesta, Alonso and Xaxi, their defence splitting passes couldn't be replicated by your mate. However your front 3 just run on to hoofs from the back, where their pace is what helps them out. Robertson and TAA aren't very skilful, nor can they defend, however they do have the ability to run up and down the wing constantly. How many of your goals involve the skill, that the great United , Arsenal, Barcelona and Man City sides of the showed. Look at Overmars goal against you or when Red Star played you off the park in the 70s if you wanna see real class. All you divvies do is play Sunday League football that is simply about athleticism not skill, thats where the peds come in. Not like when you had players like Dagliesh, Keegan, and Barnes who actually had skill.

’Your front 3’, ‘your goals’. Because I happen to think you’re talking absolute wham, doesn’t make me one of them, barking up the wrong tree there, as you are with your absolute pathetic ‘reasoning’.

Don’t get it.

We’re at our lowest ad you’re going for a Quadruple, but you’ve came on an Everton forum arguing with fans?

Why? Trust me… no Everton fans care for your opinion at the moment, we’ve got our own mess happening…

Whether our posters are right or wrong, just a bit tedious. You joined the week before Benitez was sacked 70% of your posts are on this thread, and your reactions pretty much laugh at any Everton fan losing their head on this.

Don’t get it, even if you’re not a Liverpool fan, you’re trying to bait Everton fans on the thread about Liverpool. Weird @Collyman.
