Leeds are without Cooper, Phillips and Bamford, the spine of the team. They don’t have a big squad and have the second lowest wage bill in the PL.

The players take 90% of the blame in my eyes - so far under Frankel we have hardly set the world alight (the performances at home have been good).

Lampard said it and couldn’t agree more.

We’re going to end up in it off the back of tough games against an In Form Southampton, City and before we play Spurs.

What really matters is, we take huge advantage of Goodison being upbeat, 7 cup finals to go, and if we play like yesterday, every single game has a chance to be winnable.

The big away games, Burnley, Watford are crucial we don’t lose, especially the Watford game.

So important that the fans keep Goodison rocking, well done to everyone for mostly being positive yesterday, we can play a huge part here.

Wonder if Burnley’s schedule might begin to take effect. Leicester had the weekend off and need the points to clearly separate themselves from the fight but yes odds on we will be in the bottom 3 next time we play with several games in hand over many of the teams

One thing that needs to happen above everything else if we are to push on next season is a review on our medical/fitness department.

VDB is with us less than a month and already an injury.

Not having it at all something isn't being done right in our medical department. Im hoping this new DOF looks into it and boots our medical department oot the door its been a shambles for years now.

Injuries have certainly improved since Benitez done his job but there needs to still be more work done in that department as its still not up to an acceptable standard.

Dont be fooled we had about 8-9 players oot earlier in the season.

It will get worse before it gets better. Burnley play twice before we play next and they only need a point to put us in the bottom 3. More games teams play before we play Wolves. What worries me is not Norwich and Watford, but Burnley and the teams above us in particular, like Newcastle, pulling away. Even just a handful of points. It's not going to look pretty for the next few weeks.
