Exactly…

Maybe Burnley, Leeds and Watford swap over, but there’s little risk really.
Lampard has the team playing much better football, results will follow and other clubs are in free fall.
Another worry for me is Brentford playing Leeds on the last game of the season.
Many on here will remember 1977 when Coventry played Bristol City on the last day when both needed a draw to survive provided Sunderland lost to us at Goodison.
Jimmy Hill who was in charge at Coventry deliberately delayed the kick off by 10 minutes so they knew our result (we won 2-0) and they played out the last 10 minutes with neither side attempting to win the game.

Leeds sacking Bielsa isn't ideal. They could turn it around, putting our options very slim.

Of course if the team can continue to put in shifts like last night we will pick up a lot points. But it needs to start happening. Starting with Spurs away, mentality needs to change away from home and to be honest I think spurs are definitely beatable.

A shocking Leeds team had numerous great opportunities to score and fluffed them

0-4 flattered Tottenham.

Need to get at least a draw to get a run of points going

Leeds are without Cooper, Phillips and Bamford, the spine of the team. They don’t have a big squad and have the second lowest wage bill in the PL.

They are in complete free fall as are Brentford.

Think we will now win games we would have lost if Benitez had stayed so that will see us safe.

We got rid of tapas tits way too late to make it more comfortable.

Without Bielsa, what do Leeds have? Their squad is really quite poor - it was only the 'Bielsa effect' that allowed them to overachieve.

We could get a point but I can't see a win at Spurs. I wouldn't think the players could see it either which is the biggest issue. A point would be very acceptable and a bonus under these circumstances. If the players put in a shift worthy of a point or better then they have to ensure they get something.

It’s the 3 games after that which are crucial.

Need 6 from 9 there.

I thought we stopped City playing with our tenacity and energy. We closed all gaps and prevented them getting into there stride. 2nd half you could see that the energy was spent with Allan and even Doucoure unable to keep the tenacity going. With VDB going off also this allowed Man City to take control. I don't think they were there for the taking we just nullified them in the main. Good play from us to match up to them and make it difficult
Same as against Leeds.

We came out like gangbusters first half then ran out of steam.

Lampard cant get 90 minutes out of that lot. They weren't scouted for their stamina and tenacity and discipline. The players bought by Koeman, Silva and Ancelotti were expensive show ponies for the most part with zero aptitude for the English PL.

Lampard needs to sell a lot in the summer and get players in with the athleticism and attitude to get us up the table...if we stay up, that is.

Maybe they will appoint Benitez, let's hope so.

Not sure getting rid of him is good for them. Heard on the radio fans are protesting at the training ground. You usually get a new manager bounce when you are pleased to get rid of the old manager but doesn’t seem to be the case at Leeds as the fans and the players loved him
