Government will have to announce it if PM is fined...
He is finished just a matter of timing now. His personal polling is worse than Cameron May Blair and Brown at their worst. The Tory veneer of sensibility is shot to pieces with more revelations that about COVID fraud and VIP lanes will just feed into the narrative. He even lied to his own MP's last night about Lynton Crosby coming back to work for the Conservative Party.
They'll try and normalise this stuff, its really toxic. I can kind of understand Rabb with this as he is so thick he probably believes this but they're just going to openly lie and lie because they're not being held to account. This is Putin/Trump level of deceit.
What's insane is that Johnson shat the bed so badly he even needed to be in Parliament for that embarrassing circus.
Jimmy Savile, accusing the opposition front bench of being on drugs, even his own MPs saying he'd taken them for fools.
A jokes a joke, Pete, and I know you like to play the contrarian and have a wind up, but that the Tory Party hasn't put an end to this two-bit Punch and Judy show is really unhealthy for the country you profess to love so much.
More whataboutery. Why do we need to wait for the Met Police investigation to confirm whether the Prime Minister misled Parliament. Any idea at all?It is quite telling though that there has not been a load of indignant Shadow Cabinet members calling out Boris for the drugs claim……
This is a great post.I can tell you now that neither me nor Mrs CT went and had drinks or socialised throughout lockdown and at the time we were both key workers doing much longer hours than normal. Mrs CT certainly wouldn't have been up for drinks and socialising having spent 14 hours nursing people in their death throes hallucinating and screaming while online gobshites spouted that it was just a touch of flu.
You can accuse plenty of others of doing so and no doubt they did but those who hold the highest office in the land, make laws and appear on TV and other media outlets to dictate restrictions on our freedoms should hold themselves to the highest standard. If they can't or won't meet those standards then they are not fit for that office.
Give over, it was utterly facile and doesn't even merit a response. It is quite telling though that there has not been a load of indignant Shadow Cabinet members calling out Boris for the drugs claim……
Thanks mate, and if you can pass this on to Mrs CT as well. I'm sure she has days looking at these mendacious, self serving arseholes and their cretinous enablers and wonders why she does it, but there's a nation of decent folk who owe her and so many others a debt we know we can never repay. She's the best of us, at a time we're being led by the worst.I can tell you now that neither me nor Mrs CT went and had drinks or socialised throughout lockdown and at the time we were both key workers doing much longer hours than normal. Quality post! I second every word. Thanks mate, and if you can pass this on to Mrs CT as well. Johnson has done so well hasn't he?
What is insane is a phone call to Putin regarding Ukraine had to be cancelled because Boris had to be in Parliament giving the same answer to the same question for a couple of hours about a cake.…..
