Exactly. Sam Allardyce would be. And its funny because the situation is more desperate than when we first hired him. So to go for an unknown like vp lamps or Rooney is mental. The thought of hiring sam a second time in 3 years is unthinkable and laughable to the highest order. But the one that makes complete sense. No way in hell BFS would relegate a side a few points already in safety.

This is the problem.

As a fan base we verge between the two. Ancelotti, maybe even Allardyce seemed to know the limitations of the players, so when they played in a way fans deemed as ‘negative’ and we’re in mid table they copped criticism for it.

If a manager asks these players to do anything tactically difficult to lead to better football, they can’t do it and results implode. The fans then call for us to shore things up and get into mid table.

The common denominator is we just need better players to give managers more tactical options so they have more ways to win games.

I get that it's difficult getting someone quality mid season, in the situation that we are in. Sounds like it's preferably a 6 month gig too. But there has to be a better option.
Have to pray we stay up now and get the right people in over the summer.

Fk the money at this stage matty. We've spent hundreds of millions of Sigurdsson and Tosun etc. This is about staying in the league.

I'd actually rather him pay out big manager contracts if it hinders him signing anymore players at this stage.
