To be honest i'd be very happy if we got him and this Argie that i've never heard of instead of Beckford (£4m according to BBC) and Yakubu (£1.5m according to SSN), as well as keeping Arteta.
Moyes handled Beckford badly in my opinion but he can't fit into our 4-5-1 formation as he needs a striker up there with him who a) has a first touch, and b) can hold a ball up.
The new lad will be able to do that but whether he will have the cutting edge or not we'll have to wait and see.

we must have a couple of mil somewhere to make this deal permanent, he is only 24 so if it works out then we will easy make our money back in a few years. loan would be bad, he would play well for us and then end up at stoke or tottenham on a free next summer. c'mon kenwright do somethin useful........PLEASE..........
