You do well to find anywhere around there that isn't 'below' sea level. lolMy Nan’s family came from Weston Hills just outside Spalding, hills in the loosest sense it’s only 15 feet above sea levellol
Maybe that's where spend a penny comes from. Problem is you can only go twice and that's your lot. lolJeez , never knew that!
Once would be enough for me!Maybe that's where spend a penny comes from. Problem is you can only go twice and that's your lot. lol

It's called The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music. I bought the Springsteen book as an audio book because he was reading it but blimey it was dull.@anjelikaferrett I've got This is a call, The life and Times of Dave Grohl, is that the one, got mine at HMV in L1. I don't read as much as I used to I have gone to the dark side and use Audible, currently listening to Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive.
They are so friendly aren't they, soft as anything and mischievous little sods lol@Sassy Colombian go for it. I have a belief that things happen for a reason and if this opportunity has come your way now then perhaps you should not pass it up. Even if you don't get it, it will be good practice filling in appliication forms, doing interviews etc.
Change of plan today. The rain stopped the sun came out so we went to Seaton Carew, a seaside town near Hartlepool. Got well wrapped up, big jumper, coat and almost melted. In spite of the sea breeze it was really warm. We walked miles along the seafront. Loads of people and dogs out walking, saw at least four beagles @Terrarian . One came over to say hello and nick a chip (with owner's permission!) Back home now. The sun is still out. Not sure I like this freakishly warm January weather. It's not natural.
Sounds like a brilliant trip out anj@Sassy Colombian go for it. I have a belief that things happen for a reason and if this opportunity has come your way now then perhaps you should not pass it up. It was lovely. It was also nice to see so many families out in the fresh air. Most of the kids seemed to be trying out new bikes/scooters/rollerblades.Sounds like a brilliant trip out anj
The wrath of a woman scorned ?Thanks, Jazzy. Your tuppence is worth it, as I value your advise too. Even if it is only for a job and not to represent me here at the forum when I get in troublex

However, I have been reading a lot of recent news regarding some studies that have come out that are predicting that omicron my bring us towards the end of the pandemic and it may be the beginning of its endemic phase. Here is a good article about it.Oh no my nieces household has been hit with covid now, must of caught it from my nephews family before they isolated. My sister isn't too good she may need to phone choc.
