There was zero reaction against a very average Wolves side, in fact we could have been 4 down by half time

Spurs have a new man in which always gives you a lift plus they actually have good players in forward positions in Son Moura and Kane

Kane will have a field day with set pieces against our bottle job back 4

Pivotal day.

A loss will see us in the bottom half for maybe a month or more; a win can hand us a boost to stay top half and pick up some (what look right now as) unlikely points from November/December fixtures (which can happen with the return of injured players).

A result of some sort to stop this bad run and firewall us from stumbling into a bleak winter.

We'll need 2 today to get us even a draw.

Opted not to go today and give my ticket to a mate who is keen. Found Everton more detrimental to my health than a outlet so taking a bit of a break for a few weeks.

Can't see a positive outcome of this today. Kane struggling this season no doubt grabs a goal off his arse if needs be.

Can forgive players for not being good enough in an injury crisis like now but the lack of effort and the lack of pride in their performance is unforgivable.

Sad but I gave 2 tickets away today for the same thing, really can't be arsed getting wound up and fuming AGAIN

It is sad as ive been going for 24 years non stop, but ive tkaen more responsibility at work (for more money) and I can't have the one day i get to relax making me fume, like clockwork!

When you love something sometimes you need a breather to get back to what you enjoy about it.

I look forward to the new year being back at Goodison and booing Tom Davies.

Last time we played spurs we literally gave kane 2 goals.

Like he didn't even work for it , just presented the ball twice to him to score.

I'm concerned , even for a few days, a world class manager with that team will expose our defence. All we can hope is a resolute defence and catching them cold.

Even then its not really a must win mate unless you believe we can get europe this season.

Personally as soon as I realised we only had £1.7m to spend this summer the aim for me was a top half finish and hope to build on it next summer with hopefully more dough to spend and a few more wasters out the door.

Was always going to come a period of short term pain for long term gain - you cant waste £400 million like we have and not have a season of reckoning from the get go.
Some people need realize that the squad wasn't assembled on 1.7m as that's the figure Benitez supporters are hiding behind.

If he is the manager what some people think he is then he should get a tune out of this squad.
I personally don't think he has much time left especially if it goes tits up today.
