Love haggis me.

I preferred mine with mashed potato and and pureed turnips.

brawn absolutely isn’t for me but I’m like you Fred I’m all over some haggis . I think it’s illegal in the USA which is mad , you can buy an assault rifle and not haggis !

I’m off out in a bit for something to eat , tomorrow I’m heading to wales for some rugby then goodison Sunday so it’s a busy weekend ahead .

@messymascot have you got anything ahead this weekend , any visitors ?

Random question but now you mention Wales it popped into my head.

I like making a holiday out of an Everton game and if the Sunday is free would like to jump on a train/bus to a game elsewhere. I know Manchester is close but considered maybe even Cardiff. Are there direct trains or is it even worth doing like?

No mate Cardiff is a nightmare to get to , London is easier by over an hour .

As you say Manchester is really easy as is most of the greater Manchester area .

Is there anything you cant eat?? My daughter would eat absolutely anything except cheese.

Can't eat anything crayfish. So lobster, scampi. langoustine etc. Get severe stomach cramps. Only a fairlv recent thing. Used to love them.

Won't eat. Oysters, snails and certain offal like brain and tripe, and uncooked fat except when it's Iberico ham or very good quality Parma ham where the fat just melts in the mouth. Not overly keen on fish roe and don't eat fish skin either.

I'll eat most things though.

City in Manchester would be ideal (in my head) as we could do the game then back in Liverpool for our tea that night.

If we’re playing on a Sunday there’s a lot of good places to go in this league on Saturdays , trains run to a lot of the smaller towns.

Tesco and the other Brit supermarkets do it here but never actually seen a local manufacturer.

It’s a staple part of my diet.

See if you can get your hands on Roskilly's piccalilli mate. You can get it all over Cornwall, even in the main supermarkets as a lot of them sell local produce these days. Not sure how easy it is to get elsewhere though, never mind over there. It's absolutely top notch, if you like it hot. I like it with ham on the bone and tongue. The missus used to like it with cheddar.

I normally target FA Cup 3rd round home games as tickets are easy and flights cheap.

Did Dagenham, Leicester and Lincoln over and back on the day and it was great. Leicester aside.

Coleman was on our EasyJet flight home with his daughter after the Leicester game which was great for my own kids- absolute gent.

I can’t get my nibbles spicy enough but can’t say I recognise Roskilly’s from the supermarkets here.

Have you tried Ballymaloe Relish? Not sure how widely available it is but O’Neil’s in Liverpool have it on the menu.

More sweet than spicy but it makes a burger.
