Must be a wind up - he did alright despite being not mobile so why should we have to accommodate ? Surely somebody, anybody - who is mobile would be a better option at least they could offer nuisance value if nothing else.

No, i thought he did ok, he was an out ball option, one twos, occupied defenders, went close. I dont think he was as bad the last day as many have said in this thread.

Im not saying hes best thing since sliced bread, but i thought he did alright and i dont have high expectations of him anyway, hes a limited player, but fits the system, hes not sophisticated but then neither are we well just bang balls in.

I just can't imagine him scoring a goal if I'm honest. I know it bad circumstance with injuries to Lewin and richarlision but the whole scenario just seems to epitomise the gulf between the likes of Liverpool and ourselves. Couldn't imagine many clubs in premier league ending up having to field Rondon as their main attacking option. Don't get me wrong I'd be as pleased as anyone if he did succeed because above all I want Everton to succeed but just think we've seen enough already to think that unlikely to happen.

He was in the wheelchair because he drank the snoozy snooze, so Ted was controlling him remotely while he was in a coma. But it was mentioned earlier in the episode that he was their best player.

He is barely championship level.

His a competent stop gap, to be honest we've had problems with strkers and back up strikers for decades now. I dont expect much form Rondon and ive little sympathy for us, over how we handled Kean. Again i dont agree with your take of his position.

Can’t agree with ‘competent’ if his displays for us up to now are the yardstick by which we are judging him. He was competent some years ago when he was at West Brom and Newcastle. He looks anything but competent at the moment.
