No mate at this club the fanbase luv seeing slow, unfit and unmotivated players take them for a ride providing they have an arousing surname such as "Schneiderlin" "Siggurdsson" or even "Rodriguez" ooph.

Stockholm Syndrome for too many after 7 years of slippers and fun under the likes of Martinez, Silva & Ancelotti.

See my comments on the Benitez thread. For a number of years various managers have had the same problem with James. Only his mate Carlo was prepared to give him a chance,and by treating him with kid gloves Carlo still could not get a regular tune out of him. Once Carlo had gone, and along with Carlo the soft treatment, James became completely uninterested. Benitez knows this and will not carry passengers.

He is the same player that we were all marvelling at last year. Yes, he shouldn't have tried to play through injury as he did as it exacerbated the problem but showed how committed he was. The only thing that has changed is that the new manager is still trying to blame him for his own failings at Madrid! It is very sad to see but hopefully, the manager will grow up and start using him, as this stubborn stupidity is about his ego not the good of the club.
