How can he contribute more when DCL and Richarlison arnt there? He cant help in the build up to.players who arnt playing.
Main thing is he has looked betrer this season then he did last, which is what we want, players to improve.

The most classic common alex iwobi statement.
Its everyone else's fault.

But he's had Richarlison and DCL there for about 85 games and probably only got 2-3 assists to either of them.

Regardless if they're available or not, he should be creating more and/or scoring more.

What about games under Silva?

Iwobi is absolutely crap let's get that straight. Great that he's raised his game from 4/10 every week to a 6/10 but he simply isn't good enough
Silva haha we had even less management organisation under Silva then we did Carlo.
Every player should improve this season, Iwobi has shown signs of it already, which is a good thing

Iwobi - 2019 onwards
2 goals. 3 assists. 74 games.

Gray - 2021
3 goals. 0 assists. 5 games.

Townsend - 2021
1 goal. 2 assists. 5 games.

The new lads have almost smashed Iwobi's output in 5 games than he has in now his 3rd year at the club.

He's embarrassing.
He is a slow winger without a magical foot. He is an anxious no. 10 that is prone to the calamitous error. He is a decent support striker/wing that never gets into position to help in the box. That is never a starter any day of the week. He would need to play a very specific role to have any moderate success here. That isn’t worth 10 mil let alone 30.

The new lads are being managed by Benitez though, so they will, iwobi had to make do with Silva and Carlo

Agree with most of these posts. - he’s raised his game but not a key part of any successful Everton team we are all hoping for. Or rather we won’t achieve real success all the time he features in our squad as much as he does!!

We're at that stage now. So diabolical that we're happy with a pass to a team mate. Or a cross. For 30m plus wages.
How desperate is that.
The bar couldn't be any lower.

His best, and only, attribute is that he plays with his head up, and often has the composure to pick a pass in a packed penalty box.

That's literally the only thing I could think to say that he offers.
