Have to say I'm slowly coming round to benitez and this new look Everton side...
The first goal could be blamed on benitez, changing the system leads to a bit of uncertainty...
However praise has to be given for the changes....
Gomes coming on freed up the Duke who was motm for me...
The new boys are looking like inspired signings...
Gray looks like the latest in the line of arteta, pienaar etc signings...
Townsed I always liked but I will admit thought it was too little too late, happy to be proved wrong


It's nice to see an Everton side that don't give up as soon as they go behind, kind of reminds me of the Moyes days, In a good way

If nothing else Benetiz has shown he’s a great tactician, but in fairness it wasn’t difficult to see that a back 3 wasn’t working. What cannot be denied is our fitness. I don’t know if we are training differently, but we have looked fitter than our opposition in the last 20 mins of every game we’ve played this season. A long long time since that last happened.

Benitez made changes that obv had a huge effect. Dyche had absolutely no answer, not even sure he tried to change anything.
