Correct.

The Evertonians ALL welcomed him.
Dont forget the Premier League is a major spectacle, so your always going to get people who just happen to be there, so they might not off, but the real fans are giving him full backing.
 
Some fans on here have absolutely no self-control or perspective at all do they? Its either people saying that Benitez is an utterly irredeemable POS that they want to see fail and will never support under any set of circumstances at all. Or others claiming that he's some sort of genius and savior because we've won 3-1 at home to a Southampton side that's been utterly ravaged this summer, will most likely be involved in a relegation battle this season and weren't even that good before they lost their best players anyway! Kin' hell and I thought that I chatted wham online, some people on here are on a whole different level.......

He is a good manager and I respect his footballing knowledge always scribbling something down. So as a fan can I forget the past for me it seems easier as I reach my sixth decade than it was when I enjoyed my twenties and thirties. Truthfully, I think he will do OK this year and prove himself in the years to come. We can't get in the new stadium fast enough to solve FFP.
 
Quite simple for me, genuinely didn’t want him as manager but he’s here now and whilst he’s our manager he’ll have my full backing. If he does a bad job and gets sacked I’ll go back to disliking him, if he does a good job and stays for a few years then great it means we’re doing good and I’ll like him for making it happen.

Few more games like that and I think he will have won over 99% of fans. We are a fickle lot.

I just like that he very simply identified doms strength so has just told them bang crosses in. With Rich being a beast in the air and Doucoure getting in the box we shud cause problems
 
I think some fans need to have a reality check we have been messing about like a mid table team for decades so we are not all that in the football world now, so to get a manager in who has won trophies in different leagues and gets scousers knows what the area is like, will work his bollocks off to get us challenging with the so called top 6 then I say let’s give him a go and the backing and see where he takes us.
