God you two are boring. Can you both put the same level of analysis into our accounts instead of them lot? By my reckoning we are in dire straits financially (although I'm no expert) yet Catcher you seem obsessed with trying to make a club who have won a european cup and a league title in the last 3 years appear worse off ? Give it a rest.

@davek can you inject some humour back into this thread please.

@catcherintherye is the most informative posters on LFC mate. It's why the Kopites over on RAWK hate him. You need to embrace him!

If I'm winding them up on that site, you know you're doing something right.

What's funny, is I get messages from randomers on social media telling me to tell you they think you're an x,y and z. Very odd bunch who make themselves angry at the most needless things.

But with respect mate, I made a post stating they have a very high wage bill. He jumped in with lots of inaccurate information, which myself and others corrected.

I'm happy to discuss Everton's accounts too, and do so quite regularly in typically tedious detail in the relevant thread. I dont think people on the Liverpool thread really want discussion on Evertons accounts though. I'm not sure anybody really wants that level of detail full stop haha!

As I've just said mate, I'll discuss our accounts in the relevant place.

I don't think I've ever said our accounts are better off. The comment made was that they have a very high wage, and have not really performed in line with what you would expect last season, or in honesty over the last 10 years or so.

I'm not sure what bringing Evertons accounts in has to do with it? The two things are unconnected arent they?

You just seem a bit too invested in them thats all, it's got to be bad for your health.

Sorry mate I must have missed your reports on our finances. I'll have a look.

They resent us for pointing out the inconvenient truth that their club are not really part of the elite of modern English football.

One title in 30 odd years will become one title in 40 odd years.

It's over for them apart from the minor cups.

On City's wage bill which i found they only report playing staff on their's, so it is true from the Der Spiegel leak that they did create another companies house for commercial and administrative personnel to keep the wage bill down from Uefa and PL auditors.

Can you show us where it says that in their official accounts?

That would sound awfully like fraud, a very serious accusation.

Once again, here's what City's official financial report says. Nowhere near 620 people and as you can see the commerical and administration staff were included in the total 351 million figure.

Liverpool are adamant they want around £12.75m (€15m) to sell Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.

They have no shame at all!
