Euro2020 Knock Out Rounds

That 2030 bid is going to be intense. Basically the two continents in the running are South America and Europe (and I guess Morocco will probably try from Africa) so you're going to have lots of interest.
England should really get it. Australia should have been given 2022 but we all know why that didn't happen.

Bending over to UEFA over the final is, in part, to get their backing for that bid.

Well, so far we have :

Fear for the safety of any England supporting British Muslims in licensed premises.

The England football team no longer representing, the nation, their clubs and themselves, they now represent the Tory Party.

The Church, representing the Tory party in guiding people to a Tory heaven.

All England fans being murderous, Stone Island clad Tory voting psychopaths.

England fans en masse infecting the nation and by default the world with Coronavirus.

A “ Queen Off “

Have I missed anything out ?
You can't possibly call yourself an Everton fan if you don't want England to lose every single game

Without getting all the information I'm not ready to say a British and Irish bid is 100% better than the Iberian one or the Baltic one or whatever South America is going to offer.

Australia should not have gotten 2022. They were the first bid eliminated. Yes the Qatar thing was a mess but there were like 3 or 4 others that were more favored. And sorry in advance Australia but I'm not sure you'd be a great host with the stadiums built for cricket/AFL being involved.

Its Europes time apparently, though how hard and fast that actually is, I do not know.

If England wins the bid to host the 2030 WC, I would like to think that Goodison Park would get to host a few games...maybe even a semi-final?
It would be a massive advantage for the English team because Everton's present junior teams are choc-full of players who by 2030 will probably be wearing an England shirt.

Aus would have been a great tournament - time difference aside. there were only two stadiums proposed that were cricket grounds, the rest were all Rugby League (which is the dominant sport over there after AFL) or football-specific grounds.

Would have taken place in their winter so no need to mess with two other domestic European seasons, would have had massive crowds and been a properly great atmosphere.

Believe Spain was another one wasn't it.

Yeah, a joint Iberian one would be good but in South American terms the world cup was in Brazil just 7 years ago - so 16 by the time 2030 comes around. Given Britain won't have hosted anything fully since 1996, which will be 34 years by that time, I'd say it's a good shot. The infrastructure etc is all there.

We'll see, it's definitely the aim for the FA and the UK government.

I really would like to see them move to a sustainable model where stadiums and the like aren't being built and unable to be sustained after. Brazil and to an extent South Africa were a disaster from that standpoint and Qatar will be although they seem to be not arsed. That doesn't rule out South America though, Argentina has quite a few decent sized stadiums and adding in a few other nations national stadiums pretty much gets you there. Obviously Spain and Portugal bring more than enough too.

Not saying the UK wouldn't be awesome just that I can see the other ones being equally awesome.

Not a whole lot of difference between the bit in black and the bit in purple.

The bit in green would be marvelous advice for you but I doubt you're capable.

As for the bit in the middle. I never claimed that the photo of muslim women was majorly representative of England fans. You did claim in an earlier post that the images you posted of a pair of knuckle draggers and a political opportunist were posted 'without words or context'. Thus insinuating they were purely random. Thus, taking the piss.

I've been through the England team hating phase Dave. partly for similar ideological reasons to you. Partly because the football was predictably prehistoric.
I've since realised that political opportunists and knuckle draggers abound and have no nationality. And England aren't to shoddy at the old togger imho.
Demagogues in Spain, Italy and anywhere else will always bask in the reflected glory and take advantage of national sports teams/stars.
So we either give up on international sports all together and let the knuckle draggers keep the national team as the last bastion of white England. Or we try to make the pubs and stadiums a more inviting place for the muslim women and other minorities in our society
I accept your surrender.

Spain Italy should be an interesting match

I think Italy are better but Spain have been pretty stubborn this tournament
