No one on that list screams I'm the one. Therefore I'm willing to back anyone the club chooses, we don't know if it will be Benitez yet.

As I said each to their own… but there really is very little in recent times to recommend him even ignoring the anti Everton jibes. I’m not sure he’s been seriously considered by anyone with top 6 aspirations for some time. I sincerely hope he comes nowhere near our club!

I don’t think it will be Benitez tbh, I can see us getting Nuno and the media backtracking with lines like “the club were taken aback at the potential backlash of appointing the ex-Liverpool manager.”
