I like wine like my men, light and fruity
Beaujolais is really nice, not expensive either, less than £10

Sounds like a challenge. Keep up the good work and I hope you find the cheapest one possible.Drinking a lot of red from alentejo region of Portugal. Struggling to find a bad bottle to be honest and I’m down to the €3 mark. Wonder how low I can go here

@LinekersLegs at $6.99, you almost want to wrap a paper bag around it and drink from the bottle but...worth a try

Thanks for the tip, like the Chardonnay @ste d' indica suggested the label alone is attractive
Next time I’m in Costco (samples are back!) I’ll try to pick some up.
What would be your recommendations on whiskey? I hate the stuff but hubby is a fan, his favorite is Yamaziki which is getting increasingly hard to get (price/availability) so always on the lookout for potential gifts!I don't delve in to wine like I do whisky, so I was curious if my palette was crap when it comes to wine...apparently not. Always subjective, though.

He’s not keen on peat flavored ones. Belvenie and Glen Morangie are his backup choices iirc.Tough to answer as I've not had a Yamazaki for the same reasons you've mentioned, so I'm not sure what the profile is like. Whiskey is all over the shop when it comes to composition...sherried, peated etc. Do you know of any others he's partial to?
Thank you, our wedding anniversary is next month so perfect timing. I‘ll let you know how it goes (demand divorce lawyer fees@LinekersLegs
Bruichladdich "Classic Laddie" or Islay Barley...higher proof, so it may take a little adjustment and he may get more frisky than normal.I would be very surprised if he doesn't enjoy them and you'll look like a whisky star...at worst, I'll buy it off you if he doesn't enjoy it.
