Just want we need a bolasie clone thats injured more then jame, zaha is 29 would cost over £50m and would want ridiculous wages and lozano would be decent if he wouldn't cost £40+m.

I think there's plenty of better wingers out there that we should be looking at over them 3.

What wingers would you like to see?

Bailey
Diaby
Antony
Tete
Sarr

Or some u21 potential star from Brazil/France

Definitely; saying that Zaha is 50 million now at age 29 is saying that he was 100 million at age 24, and he is no Rashford.

Palace has basically priced him out of ever having a shot at silverware, and it's a credit to him that he never downed tools.

He's just a younger deeper sigurdsson.

Slow crab who does nothing for 10 games hits a worldy and all the commentators think he's boss.

Swerve

Neto is quality though ( pretty sure he's just cabbaged his knee though? )

I rate the lad. Keeps the ball, gets up and down, hampered by Nuno's counter attacking style but hes disciplined. He's 24 too. Huge improvement on Gomes, Davies, and Siggy. Would allow Doucs and Allan to roam more.

Would be an underrated bargain IMO. But that's me. United seem to be interested to replace Matic

But hey, all we're looking for is faster faster kick and run juice heads aren't me.

Neto and Podence are very good too

Said at the time they knocked our offer back that they'd never get anywhere near that figure, or even a bigger club, after him.

This thing about Neves being a highlights player is a myth.

Hes top quality and could play for anyone in the league --- even city.

However, for us signing him it only makes sense if hes playing with 2 mobile players -- Doucoure and Another. Allan would need to be a bench option.

If we signed Neves + Kamara for £55mil then the midfield would be sorted.

Agree. Neves is a very good player, just not the one we need right now.

Nothing mentioned...id say its a under £10mil punt if anything

We dont know this either way. What we do know is that DCL and Godfrey have improved...

If we hired a young manager then its a coin toss.

I posted about Neves before Wolves signed him...hes top quality.

£35mil is a bargain for someone.

Not us though, we need more pace in the middle and im sticking with Kamara at Marseille.

Hes probably worth £35mil himself but with one year on his deal and them needing the money -- £20mil.

If we sign him then i think everyone would love him.

Pretty much. He eclipses what we have in that position IMO.

4th best midfielder for successful tackles won this season, 5 goals, 24 years old.

But agree, a ball carrier is needed

Currently our best players are Digne, Dom, Richarlison, James and maybe Doucoure and Allan although whilst I like Allan he looked every bit his age towards the end of the season and Doucoure returned looking like a Watford level player (I’m hoping that’s just down to him returning too soon)

Any new signings we make need to improve us whilst complimenting our best players. Digne needs someone to link up with. If Carlo is going to persist with Richarlison up top he needs to find someone to help Digne on the left hand side, James needs a player behind him who can bomb down that right wing and create space for him or overlap and whip a cross in (a proper cross, not one of Colemans hopeful floated lobs to nowhere), he also needs decent cover should he start as a No10 or (more likely) be out injured. Doucoure and Allan need legs around them and someone who can keep hold of the ball and drag the team 15-20 yards up the pitch and Dom needs crosses!! Early on, anything thrown into the 6 yard box and he was on it and then for some reason we just stopped doing that.

RB and RW have to happen. A proper CB, Ideally 2 CM’s – one more defence minded and one more creative, a backup GK and a striker. Pace, power and character.

Outs:

Iwobi – shocking player

Delph – worst signing in recent memory

Gylfi - I’d bin now whilst the stats can be twisted to suggest he had a good season. His legs are gone and we can’t carry a player just because they occasional take a good corner

Gomes – Gutted as I though he looked the nuts pre-injury but now he’s not good enough. He’s one of the few sellable assets that do have some value though

Kean – Doesn’t want to be here and can be sold for a decent return. Maybe he was mismanaged (I lean more towards him just not being good enough for the Premierleague) but he hasn’t contributed to the club in two seasons so lets sell high while we can.

Kenny – Take whatever we can get

Holgate – not good enough. Sell if we get an offer

Keane or Mina – if we could get a proper CB in, a commanding captain type then one of these needs to go. I’d rather keep Mina but his injury record is awful and out of the two he’s probably got more market value

Bernard – Take whatever we can, just get his wages off the books

Keep:

Davies - stays as a squad player. He’s improved but he’s still not starting 11 quality

Gbamin – who knows if the lad is any good or not. We can’t sell him so we’re stuck with him. We just need to hope he’s not absolutely awful and his legs don’t fall off.

Coleman – He’s been a great servant to the club and I love what he represents but like Baines before him he needs phasing out now. One last season on the bench offering cover

Pickford – Stepped up and improved. I’ll hold my hands up I wanted him out but he’s won me over. I still think he’s got a case of the Ross Barkley’s in him but whereas previously when he had a brain fart moment you knew his head had gone, he seems to have calmed himself now. If we could get a better GK I’d upgrade but it’s not a priority so JP stays for me.

Kids:
Gordon - failed to impress at Preston. Personally I don’t think he’s ready for us, he needs a full season in the championship with a pre-season to really settle at a club that isn’t going to change it’s manager half way through the loan. The boys talented but he’s not ready

Gibson - saw quite a bit of him at Reading, looked very much like a boy playing a mans game at times. Personally I don’t think he’ll make it at Everton but you never know. I’d sell but maybe another loan.

Branthwaite – another poor loan in the end but if we binned Holgate I’d probably keep him. I think he showed enough before getting injured to suggest the kid has a future.

Simms – Great loan. It’s not that I don’t think he’s ready to be back up but I think he suits his development better, and us long term to send him out on loan again where he'll hopefully play week in week out. If Blackpool go up stay there where he’s doing great. If not get the lad a championship club for a season and then see where he’s at next summer.

Fully accept this is fifa 21 type stuff and we can’t just sell half our squad, it’s impractical but all those ‘Out’ players listed above offer nothing to us and for once I’d love to see the club show a ruthless streak.
