Champions League revamp

Please let them succeed at stopping the game tonight. Simple fan power at large, no expensive lawyers involved etc. Might actually make them sit up and take notice. Will the police get involved to clear the route if they don’t move?
This is pointless, will stop nothing, Abramavic won’t care

Not a lot mate. The PL can kick them out but won’t, fifa/uefa can ban players from playing in WC/Euros but won’t as it will affect their sponsorships.
The Government are saying they do X Y Z but probably wont

Can all the rest of the teams breakaway into a new league if PL don't kick them out.

As I've been suggesting all day...

Villa's CEO;
If self harm is what is required, then has to be the way we go.

Any English club outside of that "6" might as well forget it if we allow this to go through. They are all banking on the remainder of the premier league bending over and accepting it as it would be in their own interest. Since when has NEVER having the opportunity to sit at the top table again ever been in our own interest.

Let's be honest here. The English game as we know it is knackered if this Super league goes ahead. What attracts fans worldwide to our game are the players. The best players will hardly ever play in a domestic game again; they will be reserved for the Super League. So even if we bend over and accommodate the "big 6", we're never going to get the same TV deals again. Even mad hot Man U and RS fans around the world won't want to pay top dollar to see their second string perform in the Premier league or FA Cup.

No, our best bet to preserve our domestic game is to threaten the 6 with expulsion from the Premier League, and absolutely mean it, and hope that makes them see sense. If it does, the ESL will not be possible without them. If it doesn't, then we have to accept the fact that we will have a less attractive premier league and the reduced TV income that goes with it. But that's going to happen anyway when the big 6s second string are getting walloped every week.

It’s not a replacement PL it’s a replacement CL and that’s what the owners are thinking. From what I read it’s something like 10 games then the top 4 of each group go in to knock out. So not really an extra 38 games. An the big 6 can’t be relegated but it’s only the same as the CL just they cut out UEFA and gain loads of money
They should have called it a Super Cup or something

You are right in saying it is meant to replace the Champions League, but you are wrong on the format. It's a minimum of 18 games per club (champions league at the moment is a minimum of 6). so these clubs are going to have a much bigger commitment to European games and would probably have to field weakened sides in domestic competition to make up for that. But in their eyes they can do that in the league because where they finish in the domestic league doesn't affect their super league status.
