It means, “Look, we’re right so please do as we say. Please. Pretty please. With sugar on top. Oh come on, don’t be nasty. Please. I’m not your friend”.I still have no idea what's the hell "nobody is listening to us" even is meant to mean
Very good points about the TV revenue here.People saying the TV deals for prem clubs will take a hit if the 6 leave?
It will take a bigger hit if they stay imho.
Honestly who’s going to pay to watch a competition that isn’t really a competition because nobody outside of the 6 gain anything from being in it apart from survival?
You’d still have the customers of the big 6 paying I suppose. But will they even care about a competition that’s been devalued so much? The “most exciting league in the world” turns into a complete sham instantly.
Kick them out is the only option if they go ahead with the SL. You pander to these clubs and this is what you get.
Good on the Chelsea fans. Are they preventing the players from entering the stadium? I hope so.
Not a lot mate. The PL can kick them out but won’t, fifa/uefa can ban players from playing in WC/Euros but won’t as it will affect their sponsorships.Does anyone know the law, what options do we have if the SL goes ahead.
They can tax their earnings to any percent they choose and redistribute the income across the gameI've still got 15 pages to catch up on, so apologies if what I say has already been posted, BUT, I'm sure the organisers of the Super League already have plans to have games played on the African continent, Malasia, China, USA and so on. So all they would have to do is put the English teams' home games in one o fthose countries. Problem solved for them...

One that can't say no, that you could ruin if they don't go along with what you want. That means one thats in huge debt.
Owners can be fickle, but all the 14 owners / groups of owners know what this will do to their investment, and the selling price. I doubt any of them will go along with the six just for the lulz.
Someone that does not understand what football means to fans in this country.Who on Earth would find any of this reaction shocking?

Depends if there kicked out the PL or not.I think for this to work with the clubs not in their domestic leagues, they actually need more than 20 teams, and more than 1 trophy to win each season. Or it will be really boring for the fans of these clubs that don't win it. In the current plan they only have 18 games per season in the group stage and 5 more if you make it to the final. Imagine if you are a fan of one of these teams and out of the opening 9 games you win 3 lose 3 and draw 3. You have 9 more games with barely any hope of getting in to the top 4 and the knock out phase, season over in December.
