Martin Alvito
Player Valuation: £50m
I think he gets a bad reputation for no reason but I see a lot of reasons why we shouldn't do this
Tuchel is doing his best Mourinho impression by pushing young players like Abraham and Pulisic to the fringes and airing dirty laundry in the press. 12 from 18 is an excellent return, and it seems like sidelining such a player is shooting yourself in the foot.
If we can afford it at the right price and still budget in fixing the right side and a midfield upgrade, then sure. Obviously, the plan would be to rotate by starting two up top and subbing on the third when they're all healthy, while still being good to go when you're down one.
Someone that can play centrally or out right like Richarlison does on the left would be more tactically flexible, but may not be as affordable as Abraham.
Thanks for directly addressing my question, by the way.
