In your opinion.

Carlo, I suspect, sees it very differently.
Nah. I'm not buying that "I rotate my keepers stuff." If one was clearly better he'd play him every week. Neuer did when he was at Bayern because no one is wasting time playing Sven Ulreich. Cech played whenever available in the league and CL. Olsen playing at all is a sign he doesn't rate him.

. It took United what one Henderson game to see the grass isn't greener?

It was a couple weeks ago I eventually at last agreed we needed a new keeper having been ok with Pickfords idiosyncrasies... a few weeks later and I may have jumped too soon onto the gravy train... just looking around no keeper is perfect.. and the keepers that are close to it seem out fo reach unless Marcel had a gem up his sleeve..
Keeper is far from a priority for us.. I would rank it 4th or 5th in the list.

It's been two games since his last poor one!

David De Gea and Alison were both good value for money at all points and I'm really not sure where the debate is coming from. De Gea's only issue has been being so good for a few years that him being merely above average looks poor in comparison. It took United what one Henderson game to see the grass isn't greener?

At de Gea's present wages, he'd better be stellar, which he once was but hasn't been on this contract. That's not an uncommon problem in professional sports; the infamous Albert Haynesworth contract in the NFL springs to mind as a more extreme example of the problem. "Above average" isn't good enough on superstar wages, especially at a position like GK that commands lower salaries.

Allison got them a Champions League and a Prem title, so there's no question that they received a short-run return on their investment. With his form dropping off a bit, I'd say it's a bit early to predict whether it was a wise long-run move. As I noted, that could be partly a side effect of the CB situation over there. You'd 100% spend that money if you can guarantee a title, so I'm not questioning them doing it. What I am saying is that I don't see dropping that kind of money on a goalkeeper unless you're in their situation where GK was the missing piece.

Our window probably begins in a year when the Koeman/Walsh wages come off the books, so I would be more inclined to invest in other areas of the squad this summer. If I went GK shopping, it would be in a more reasonable price range.

We will see, I just don't want to be reading all Summer that we need a Keeper, cos it ain't happening.

I’ve never got the energy or the memory to go back... so yep it was a couple games ago.. but he has been far more consistent this season I feel. Point more being I’m not seeing a hell of a lot of keepers without to an error or two in them

If more consistent is two straight decent games we're in real trouble

The NFL isn't a good example when talking money. This is just a wild thing to me saying these two world class keepers were bad signings essentially because they weren't world class forever. They aren't bad now either.
