priority will be the weaker areas most probably, so CB won’t be touched I imagine

on top of that if we do wanna play a high line, surely we can cover that with a mix and match between our center back options......meaning even if the boss is thinking of Keane/Minas issues with a high line he would push it back down the areas of concern due to Big Ben and Mase

for me when it comes to our back 4 I’m more concerned about balls in to the final third. Between the centre backs and whoever is playing midfield if we keep improving our balls into the feet of James, DCL, Richy or whoever else is up there we will be a dangerous proposition in attack

Doesn't planning permission now mean that some of the fun ds spent on the stadium so far don't count as far as FFP is concerned? If this is the case, this could be a massive summer for us,. euro football of some description is vital.

Ive seen nothing in Carlos body of work over the last 30 years to suggest he has a desire to play a high line.

He did say about 3 weeks ago that he wants us to play 10-15 yards up the pitch.

But, that's based on playing 10-15 yards up from the 18-yard box.

From what I can see Max Aarons Agent is Darren Dein who is the son of David Dein, who is VERY good friends with a certain Mr Moshiri.

Going to be tough if Bayern are intetested but as been mentioned before, will he be a squad filler there or a starter? If he's promised the RB slot, cant see him turning that down.

However, if not and now we have his 'big brother' here, hopefully we are in eith a very good shout. Could do with getting European football though as an extra offer to him.

I mean it’s no surprise that there will be a huge appeal, look at Sancho and Bellingham , they’ve went over and are developing.

I won’t use Musiala, as he’s already half German, but not a knock on Aarons, but how’s he dislodging Pavard from the Bayern side?

Max Aarons isn’t one that looks good stats wise but when watching him you can see he has potential.

It would be an expensive one I’m sure, but there’s a lot of upside.

He’s fast, has quick feet, can beat a man, can tackle, and is strong on the ball considering he’s not a big player. A true modern full back.

Think the fact that Godfrey is here really sweetens it for him. Bayern is obviously a big attraction but he’ll know that he’s first choice here no matter what. I could see us potentially paying him and Norwich more than Bayern would too just to secure him. He’s definitely good but not sure he gets into their team with any sort of regularity at least for a few years.

Dein’s good relationship with Moshiri has been mentioned a lot over the years so this makes a lot of sense.
