In our case, we have (a) a female CEO and (b) a CEO with a penchant for communications. (a) will of its nature attract profile by the very fact of it being unusual and (b) is being done by choice by the club. We have a CEO who for their own reasons, feel it necessary to send regular emails and updates to stakeholders on all manner of issues. IMO, we should a comms team / director managing that.

The current set up is indicative of someone who is perhaps too hands on. And coming from a charity and non-football background, that benevolent mindset is hardly likely to instill a competitive mindset amongst the staff be they commercial, admin or football operations. As an earlier poster noted, culture starts at the top and permeates. I have no doubt our CEO's heart is in the right place but perhaps that right place is really EITC. And he need a hard nosed results oriented driven ba$tard in to hold people accountable.
I didn't say she was the right person to be CEO, just that the CEO position has no effect on the playing side, especially when you're a billionaire's plaything like we are. Moshiri gives the go-ahead to the DOF and/ or manager to buy players

I think if Davies continues with his improved performances then we'll have:

Allan
Doucoure
Davies
Onyango

So we'd need 2 more coming in.

Also by 2 more i mean at least one player better than all of those combined who can run the show.
Well we have Gbamin and Gomes too, barring somebody coming in for the latter.

but yes, we need a player in the Grealish mould. Not him, but someone who can get on the ball and pick a pass or drive us upfield 40 yards

Hard for some to realise that a culture is developed from the top and filters down.

Each job you have has a culture which is created by the CEO etc. That attitude filters down and you consume it by osmosis.

If everyone is hard working but you play hard you buy into it and that’s the culture etc.

A football club is no different until the powers that be cultivate a winning club we will alway be like this and no manager will ever change this not even Carlo Ancelotti or any of the players we sign.
the culture of everton is kind and socialist buddy two things which u hate so that makes u a hypocrite getting angry at everyone in it because of that and ur mr floppy problems.

You mean like Daniel Levy

Bring in another cm with aggression and work-rate. If one of Allan or Doucouré is out we’re screwed.

Right back is a priority!

We lose so many points and goals conceded down our right each and every game.

We need to balance the defensive and attacking threats on both flanks.

Gbamin hopefully will come back in for that defensive midfielder he was brought in to do but no pinning hope on that.

We need another attacking threat be it a 2nd striker or winger. We rely on DCL and Richarlison too much for goals, that we need a plan B.

I think we have 6 maybe 8 players who could be part of a 15man squad, that could be top 4 material. So It’s a big job for the club to get the remaining players over the next couple of years.

when you become a regular champions league team, then maybe you can carry 20players of a certain level.

Over the next few years the youngsters will have to pad out the squad and hopefully we don’t get to many injuries to cope.

We have to many players like siggurdsson, Gomes, iwobi and Bernards who have one or two decent games then go back to [Poor language removed]. We would be better having another quality wide player and midfielder to replace them and have a Gordon as next choice on the wing or onyango as 5th choice midfielder. Than having Gomes and Delph
