Post Mortem? Problems? Crisis?

Well fair enough. But what about those that are creating a new thread for every update about 1 player?

Yup thats annoying too. but i'm not, nor do i want to be, a mod.

Its just that the "dont like it, dont read it" rule is difficult for me to apply when stuff is posted all over the place

post morton...gamst pedersen

seems to have gone off the boil at blackburn along with a few others, if not for santa and bentley they would be in real trouble.

Maybe he needs a change of scenery, we're after a left winger aren't we? Gamst would be perfect.

My biggest problem with Toffeeweb......the people who use their age as an excuse to think they have a more valid opinion than me. "Son, I have been watching Everton for 55 years and blah blah blah..." Great, you have been supporting way longer than me (monty, Robert this stuff is not aimed at you). But only by virtue of age.

Spot on !!!

Problem with those cats is that they're LIVING IN THE PAST.

They can't see the forest through the trees.

The game has changed so much since the 70's & 80's that they don't have a clue.

I've been supporting Everton since the Walter Smith era and can tell you for a fact that I'm imminently more qualified to comment on Everton today that these "old timers" are.

Just because someone has been supporting Everton longer than I have doesn't mean they know more about the club today than I do.

They can take their "history" and cram it with walnuts a la Homer Simpson.

Tell me guys, has the Oldham result made you feel that Moyes isn't the man for the job.

Does it make you feel that we have a crisis and that Moyes desperately needs players to bolster his squad.

As one guy on TW has said - "We are deluded if we think we can win games even in Oldhams division". Is that correct?

I know ToffeeWeb is a site really to be avoided if we don't want to read negative thoughts, but they do have a following, and are putting a message out there which I think is very wrong.

I got emails this morning from Kendrick and Lyndon, because basically I have complained that they are encouraging an unhealthy and un-justified wave of attack on the club. Kendrick was his usual - don't go there then, but that's not the point.

Lyndon was also defending saying that Radio Merseyside and Blue Kipper have had similar opinions. I doubt they would be as vocal as Toffee Web has been in their attack on the club.

Are they thick or something?

Let them get on with it mate. They are deluded and not even worth bothering with, I love after a defeat all the bastards crawl out of the woodwork, I am sure they will be all smiles after the next win.
They are pathetic.

I remember when I first was invited onto this forum by chico, and one of my first posts, I got into an argument with you, because you called me a toffeeweb poster.

The exact same thing happened to me too, not by ghost, but someone said something along the lines, "oh yeah, your a toffeeweb poster", and at the time I had absolutly no idea what they were on about, but also assumed it was of the insulting nature.

I think I can see what ghost is trying to say though, i used to read that site quite often and used to think to myself, "boy did i read that match wrong", i was quite surprised as to the level of hatred for people like bill kenwright, and i thought i was one of the only evertonians who didnt hate kenwright. So a site like that could give some blues a bad view of the club, which indirectly could affect support.

I was a Toffeeweb poster, and proud of it. All of the first members here are ex-TWF with the exception of Cal. I would go as far as to say the first 100 or so were almost exclusive ex-TWF.

Yeah that's exactly been my point. I think it could be an exciting venture.
