Sarr from Watford, providing they dont get promoted. Offload Siggurdson to Swansea if they get promoted.
Richarlison to Atletico Madrid will be a thing

Probably unpopular opinion and I like him but I think we should be looking "bigger" than Olsen. I'm not saying spend 50m+, Roma supporters were ecstatic to see him go. Maybe because he's not playing every day we're not seeing the bad part that often.

Yeah I do understand this logic as well, and in reality, we've only seen Olsen over a very small sample size so perhaps it'd be best to see how things play out before judging this one. Sometimes events happen in football, from which players can't come back (Pickford in the derby being a prime example), and it seemed that to be the case for Olsen at Roma, where the die was cast and their minds had been made up. By all accounts, he is a decent, steady keeper, which may suffice for now given the squad can't be transformed in 18 months and truly great keepers are hard to come by.

The big one on your list would be Donnarumma.

If we could bring him in now then that would be brilliant.

However, it could see Pickfords value and confidence plummet.

Managing Pickford through to the end of the season is important in this case, given the fees that were obtained for Ramsdale and Martínez for example. There's still an asset there for which clubs could arguably pay 20-25m given his age, his natural ability with certain attributes, and the fact that he still remains England's number one. So if someone did offer that kind of money, there's no doubt that 5m for Olsen (with 15-20m being banked) represents good value imo.

Heres 4 i like that we may be able to deals for...

Boubacar Kamara
Eduardo Camavinga
Bruno Guimaraes
Emerson

Id say though, I really like Godfrey and DCL in the spine of the team. If we could add in a super centre or defensive midfielder then i think it makes a lot of sense.

I've not seen Emerson play so can't comment on him, but three decent shouts for the central midfield position.

I spent a year living in Lyon so follow them fairly closely, and Guimaraes has been incredible in most of their games - looks like they've finally replaced Ndombele in the centre of the park. Camavinga is simply a generational talent and so I'm not entirely sure he needs a period at an Everton before moving onto a PSG or Real. However, with many of them being skint, and if we manage to get Top Four, I'd be ecstatic if we went for him (although I think he's probably already destined for the very top). My housemate is from Marseille so I've been subjected to watching them play twice a week, and Kamara has been one standout (apart from Thauvin) in a team which is lacking in quality, and with them being skint, could be the most attainable at our current level.

I agree about waiting to see how Olsen performs over the season.

Ancelotti did say he wanted to sign Olsen and then we didnt so it could be that he (or the goalkeeping coach) has seen something lacking in his game or temperament.

Alternatively he may have other plans for that position...or simply wants to wait till summer so Brands can make a cheaper deal with Roma.

Lets see how it plays out.

I think if we are to go with a 4231 type formation then we'll need more then Doucoure and Allan in the '2' positions over the season.

Guimaraes adds the mentality and all round quality while Kamara has the pace and ability to cover both central and left side of defence.

Either or both would be tremendous signings i think.

Camavinga's been linked with Barca and Real. Will either of them pay £40-60mil for him? I think its unlikely this summer.

Perhaps regular games in the premier league at 18 may be seen as a good progression in the knowledge that hes under a world class coach and may see us as a stepping stone.

All three of them make sense for different reasons.

If you can actually get to a point where Donnarumma would sign here you don't give a single crap about Pickford. But I highly doubt that has any chance of happening.

Barca have no money so no they will not be. But he's another I'd be stunned to see end up here.

There is a rumour saying we are in for Rui Silva on a free. He isn’t capped internationally yet but already got call up by the senior squad.

We should get in the market for a creative player, who can get up and down the pitch, rapid and last a season with few injury worries.

I like him quite a bit. He reminds me a lot of Robles (who I don't think was really given a fair shake here) in so far that he won't be "world class" but he's a calming influence mostly and does the job without yelling obscenities at his defenders when a shot comes to him. And that is a good point about sometimes things just snowball when something goes wrong. If we have the opportunity to get a "better" keeper I think we should take it but if he is who we want then so be it. As long as it isn't Pickford I'll be ok honestly.

I think midfield was upgraded last summer. We are not replacing Alan or Doucoure.

We’ve had a more useful midfield this year most of the time. What we dont have is a functional right back. We also won’t have a second keeper come summer when Olsens loan is up. ideally we need someone to replace Pickford as first choice. We’re also still short on forwards and Bernard is likely to leave in the summer.

Which of those would you prioritise for a first choice midfielder, because I would be putting the money into RB, GK and forward, in that order of importance.
Hopefully Pickford has a good Euros .we sell him and buy a top class replacement
If we let Kean go to PSG and we get Europe, Raoila (who I despise ) may have a word in Donnoruma's ear
