Trump was the least establishment politician ever to be elected,anywhere. Boris has obvious establishment roots. Thank God we are out of the on-its-last-legs EU, which is nothing more than a vehicle for Germany to save its own economic bacon. Just ask Spain,Portugal, Greece, Italy etc if they would rather be in or out. In fact watch them all try to leave in the next few years. 1914-1939-2021...when Germany tried to control Europe.Once again, only GB had the guts to stand up to them. Nothing wrong with Mosh and Usanamov money,long may it continue. Now Chinese money....thats a different story.

No. It's a different thing but not different in terms of being reprehensible. To claim that criticism of can't be levelled at someone or something because of loathsome behaviour elsewhere is whataboutery and selective moral cowardice.

Regardless of the actors certain acts are without a doubt utterly reprehensible. The fact that others are morally bankrupt doesn't justify, excuse or lessen the vileness of those actions.

This started in a legitimate 'football' thread about Usmanov. To quote Clinton Morrison this morning when he was involved in a long discussion over the big issue which clouds football at present...'he'd much rather talk about the football' Wouldn't we all. Quite right Andy C. I come on here to discuss football and naturally there are periferel areas which still concern football,but a line has to be drawn.

Steve, either this is a wind-up or you are the most ill-informed person ever to post. As for your anti-Germany stance, it is disgraceful. They have been more succesful than us by far since 1945, just accept and learn rather than claim a victory that does not exist...you should run for President.

Hooray. Just look at the mess over the vaccines. Created by non elected officials that is the point. Is that not a dictatorship? So now we can govern ourselves what ever party is in and not have our hand smacked.

BTW there are folk across the channel calling for Frexit.
